i travelled to prague with my newly married husband for our honeymoon.
we booked it three days prior to travelling through a travelagent assuring us of a three star hotel close to the city centre. It couldn't be furher from the truth.
The hotel was EXTREMELY basic!!! and the morning after arrival we were both keen for a hearty breakfast before going into the city centre. The breakfast consisted of cold coffee and unknown types of bread. One visit was enough. We headed out to make our way out to the city to find out it was approximately 20 minutes away by taxi or tram. The tram ran close to the hotel and was fairly simple to use once you got the hang of it but unfortunately did not run late at night. Once in the centre of prague, it was only sensible to stay all day and taxi home to the hotel at the end of the evening as the hotel 'restuarant' was anything but inviting.
Yes, it was clean but not exactly a hotel to enjoy!!!!!!
P.S it also costs £50 to get from the airport to the hotel but you gladly pay it back to the airport
