Our apt. had one bedroom and then a sofa couch in the living room. It worked out fine for a couple and me as a single. Biggest drawback was we all heard nearby noise from 10pm until 2am. With windows open (end of May) I heard people either passing by or standing outside a nearby bar. They were having fun! My friends' room faced a courtyard and voices from nearby apts could be heard. Clean-up was solid every day, with dishes done and fresh towels. The optional 5-euro breakfast was worth it across the street at CP1 Café. The people working the office were super nice and helpful. They arranged for an airport taxi early one morning and helped us figure out the streetcars. We had a clothes washer, but no dryer so used a rack. Grocery store is one block away. Easy to walk to many attractions. Cozy apt. with kitchen. We adjusted to noise by the third night and were often tired. Area felt safe for walking.

Room Tip: Maybe some rooms are quieter than others? Ask.

this is a great place to stay because :
-located in a good area, very close to charles bridge and there's a tesco nearby
-there is a wonderful indian restaurant nearby (golden tikka/tikka-tikka)
-clean, very well kept
-well equipped kitchen, bathtub, washing machine
-modest price for a modest hotel, nothing fancy but enough to make you feel at home

This was our 3rd visit to Prague and by far the best location to stay at. It is in Prague 1 and only about a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. There are restaurants and pubs all around the apartment itself so finding a place to eat is easy. Even though the apartment is close to everything, it is also quiet. We never heard people or cars in the evening or in the morning when we were trying to sleep. The apartment itself is roomy and cozy. There is a very large corner tub in the bathroom. The refrigerator is well stocked with water, beer, wine, juice, soda, etc and while there is a charge for each of these items, they're fairly inexpensive. The beds were harder than we preferred but that is just personal preference. Secure parking is available for a fee but it's well worth it not to have to worry about your car. We had our 2 small dogs with us and didn't have to pay an additional fee for them. We would most definitely stay here again.

Don't let the name put you off. This apartment was in a great location to see the sights of Prague. My wife and I reserved a modest apartment on the first night which had paper thin walls. But Ana had already kindly offered the best apartment at no extra charge for the two remaining nights. It was spacious, homely and most important clean. I'd definitely use this apartment again. Please remember to close lift door, as otherwise the poor chamber maid has to use the stairs, and she works hard enough! Four thumbs up.

Room Tip: Ask for the room on the sixth floor.

Ana was very helpful . She explained with a map all the sight seeing places. We could store our luggage as we had our train at midnight . An Indian restaurant is just next doors. Ana helped us in drying the clothes giving clips there is a common balcony in each floor where you can dry them . Tesco is 5 min walk. Our pram broke so we could easily buy a new one there. Iron board and iron also there in apartment . Downside very tiny elevator hardly enough space for 2 people . No salt , sugar or laundry cubes in the apartment . Would recommend this place .

It's a very nice place, convenient located not far from the city center, around 10 minutes walking from the train station. It's a quite area very safe and nice to walk, we didn't have problems at all.

We were very happy with our stay at Apartment Konvikt in Prague. We had a roomy apartment with full kitchen, on a quiet street, just 5 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge. They have private -off street parking for a fee (ours was 20 euros per day), which was an important consideration since we were driving a rental. In fact, we had trouble securing a rental car, since some companies wouldn't allow travel in the Czech republic, or levied a surcharge for travel to eastern Europe. Anyway, the parking was a plus.

The decor was what you would imagine a local Czech family home to look like. Clean, everything in good repair, but not the modern hotel type of decor.

It was a little warm there on the fourth floor in mid-July, but there was a fan in the room that allowed us to sleep comfortably.

We came and went with keys to the front door and the apartment, and walked miles and miles all over Prague. Having our lodging in such a central location definitely made the trip that much more enjoyable.

The staff was very nice and helpful.
