Had vacation in Prague from 9.09.2013 until 13.09.2013.
Family 3 adults and 3 years old child.
Booked suite with 2 rooms and "bathroom". Quality of the rooms are not 4 stars hotel, shower on the floor, no bathtubs as on the pictures of the suites rooms in this hotel.Really hard beds and on the sleeping room nr. 2 was just sofa bed that was broken in the middle. Teacups in the room was DIRTY.
REALLY NOISY. There are ambulance and police center near by, A LOT of noise 24 hours per day. It was NO hot water for 2 days. Really busy during the breakfast time.
So we have arrived to Amigo hotel (apparently sharing reception and owner with Alqush hotel)on Monday evening. Lady on reception from the first sight was really helpfully, spoke English and we have got our keys to the room really fast. My only question to her was about late check out on Friday 13.09. Had the airplane at 21.30 and I asked if it was possible to check out at 19.00. As my child sleeps during the day and it was much comfortable to check out just before travelling to the airport. Lady at the reception said, no problem, I just need to pay 1000 czk for the late check out at 19.00. She asked me to come back tomorrow to pay, so I did. It was another lady at the desk, she told med that I can pay on Friday, everything OK with the late check out. I did paid on Thursday to the third person on the reception desk. NO MORE information from the reception desk. On Friday during our last boat trip in Prague I am receiving 2 calls from the hotel with the message that they do not know to whom I payed and why?? because they are fully booked and I need to come back to deliver the key. They completely ruined our holiday in Prague, as the only thing that we remember now how stressing it was during last day and we have never got our money back for the late check out. Hotel manager just told us that we need to understand that it was mistake and its just human factor. Anybody can make mistake but hotel guests apparently should pay for it. I had to pay 1000 czk to be yield at by the phone twice and for the conversion with the manager who even could not look into my eyes. We never had such bad holidays before. Welcome to Amigo and Prague.
