“Pricey, classy, good service, microwaved pasta”
Reviewed 13 August 2010

Two glasses of wine, two mains and a bottle of water cost US$120. It is well done and our service by a young waitress was excellent, but my wifes pasta was pretty leathery. My goulash was not very tender - was it microwaved too???

“Romantic meal for two in Prague”
Reviewed 11 July 2010

To celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday, we visited this restaurant. It had a better ambiance than the Barock across the road. Staring with a glass of champagne (which I must say was very expensive). The meal was first class and good value. The wine selection was good unless you wanted Rose, in which case only one to choose from.

Overall however an excellent way to celebrate. Good service and good food. The drinks were expensive making the meal for two cost £150.

“Turist Trap FOR SURE - Don't Go There”
Reviewed 21 June 2010

I've been to Pravda on 12thJune - 2010 and had the worst experience at all during our stay in Prague.
My starter was OK, but my mom asked for aspargus - as it was season of aspargus - and got a ridiculous 3 pieces of not fresh aspargus - the white ones - with a sauce that tasted like nothing.
The waiter was "suffocating" us as he didn't left us alone for a minute... Always wanting to serve something - a glass of champagne, one more glass of wine, .... -
The food was very poor and didn't taste good at all.
The price?! We were RIPPED OFF! (100euros!!!) Extremelly expensive for something it really doesn't worths for. No doubt it's a tourist trap.
Also the staff was not only arrogant but the waiter vehemently and in a rude way demand a tip:10% price.
DON'T GO THERE!

“Some french chic with a bohemian touch”
Reviewed 5 January 2010

Great place to eat, great food, relaxed atmosphere, great music in the evening and amazing value on one of Prague's equivalent of New Bond Street. Mainly french food, but some bohemian specials if you want to taste local fare. Service was very good, not obtrusive, but very efficient. Try the bohemian "champagne", its excellent!

“The worst place we ate in Prague. I...”
Reviewed 21 December 2009

The worst place we ate in Prague. I ordered soup and salad. The soup came out a little slow. But after an hour and no salad, we ask for the bill, paid it and left without ever being served. The soup is ordinary. The had a piano player and singer who were good. That was about the best thing.
