“Posh and tasty!”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

We went hear for one meal as a treat. It is located centrally in Prague. There is a fairly wide choice of menu. I had Thai prawn for starters - which was disappointing as it only came with ONE prawn. The accompany beetroot thing was full of cheese which I couldn't eat but wasn't listed on the menu either so I didn't know. However my one prawn tasted nice. Next I had the wild boar which was very nice. The food is very rich and fanciful and may not be everyone's cup of tea but the quality of ingredients cannot be faulted.

Service was good, although like others there was a slight 'stuffy' atmosphere. We were the youngest there and I would say the rest of the diners were 50+. However, we were treated courteously at all times.

I would recommend Triton for a change from the other restaurants or for a special occasion. And not really one for children.

“Unique environment!”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

I decided to visit here on my first night for a romantic meal. It was fairly quiet on a Monday evening and the food was of a good standard, The waiter was friendly enough, yet not as cheerful as he could have been! The decoration of the restaurant is what sets it aside. It was very enchanting and unique!

“A bit upscale”
Reviewed 28 February 2014

We were dressed in casual clothes, back from sightseeing. Other diners were business attire so we felt a bit underdressed. The food and service were excellent which was reflected in the higher prices.

“Excellent service and amazing food!”
Reviewed 28 February 2014 via mobile

I have just stumble upon this amazing place during a shopping day and what a surprise! The service is 5 star! And the food is just to die for! They gave us complimentary bread basket and a complimentary appetizer which was a really nice touch. I have order one of the local specialties... Trout , and it was amazing! The location is stunning and feels like a cave at the bottom of the ocean! Must try!

“One of our favorite restaurants around the world!”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

We live in Germany, and have been to the Triton many times in past years. I discovered it quite by accident about 15 years ago, and have returned time and time again. The service is always exquisite, the food well-prepared and delightfully served, and the ambience amazing. We truly adore the Triton, and recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet, special, tasty meal. Supper can be pricey, so we prefer to go at lunch -- but have never been disappointed. The wine list has a nice variety of reasonably-priced wines, and the restaurant's choices for house wines and aperitifs were very good. The theme of Greek mythology is always fodder for great conversation, and we love the concept of eating in a (fabricated) cave, surrounded by Greek icons of life and death. We have taken many friends with us on different occasions, and they have always enjoyed the experience. I would recommend the Triton to anyone!!
