We were hoping to find a little gem in Prague away from the tourist traps and whilst we saw few locals in this restaurant we were charmed by this quaint restaurant which we accidentally discovered close to our hotel. They seat 40 downstairs and will open up their upstairs area when it’s busy, we were there on a Monday, so not very busy - but I checked out upstairs and got some pics. They specialise in duck, the Czech name for the restaurant translates to The Blue Duckling. Needless to say the duck was a-mazing! Service was flawless but not stiff and the atmosphere in this 400 year old building was just fantastic. A highlight for us we recommend it highly!

Simply the best service in Prague. Good food also. Recommend the 9 dishes. There specialty is duck. And you can really tell that from the amazing whey they serve it.

So cozy and relaxing atmosphere, we forgot about time, sitting there and enjoying the meal. The food was gorgeous, beautifully presented, the stuff recommendations for food and wine were spot on. We absolutely loved this place.

Sat upstairs in a beautiful and romantic setting. Our waiter, Richard was not only charming but recommended terrific wines with flavorful selections from the menu. The live piano music only adds to this wonderful dining experience. Now a must do in Prague.

Amazing food, worked out to be around £50 pp, including 10% tip, which is excellent value.
It took us 3 hours to complete the experience, the highlight of which were the pancakes prepared in front of us, in a flaming pan.
Lovely romantic environment and very attentive staff. No particular dress code, smarter than shorts and t-shirt, but nowhere near suit and tie.
