There was nothing wrong with this hotel, but it just doesn't provide experience of a four stars hotel: no bathrobes, slippers in the room; to get an iron you have to go to the front desk and ask for it (they suggested to reserve it in advance as they have just a few). Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was decent, I can't complain. Staff is helpful. Probably the best part of the hotel was a bathroom - clean and with nice appliances, decor.
Location is good - you can easily get to Old Town, Mala Strana by tram or subway. My wife and I also walked to Vysegrad which I highly recommend for those who like to walk in parks.
Overall, I think it worth $90 we paid per night in May. 3 stars (average) rating because, there is not much good/bad to say about the hotel. 4 stars rating is misleading...

The hotel is in a fantastic location; just a short stop away from Wenceslas square this hotel is within walking distance of the attractions of the city, and plenty of transport links.

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and the staff are superb - speaking many languages. It's a great place to stay and on a value basis it is much better than many others in the city. The only warning is that those with electric shavers should make sure they are charged - the city does not have an electric shaver plug socket in the rooms.

Let's start from the things we did not like:
. We were booked out on the first night. No apologies extended.
. No tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Room service was not available at the time of request - 9pm.
. Extremely squeaky floors (we stayed in two rooms - the same)
. No duvet was provided on a cold'ish day. When asked for it at reception - we were told it is too late in the night for them to help us with this.
. Only one member of the staff was truly nice to us and cared about the service.
. Only one english channel on the TV, (very small TV) (should you have bad weather during your stay).

What we liked:
. Nice decoration of the lobby
. Bed is comfortable
. Good shower pressure
. Nice breakfast

Overall, potentially we could give it a two star rating and suggest to do some customer service training.

Room Tip: No not arrive late as hotel will potentially book you out to another hotel across the road. 309 is...

We have visited the hotel couple of days ago. Rooms are spacious, clean. But the windows are very old, so u have the wind outside, inside the room. Thx God, the receptionist provided the electrical heater, otherwise we would freeze directly in the room. Staff in the restaurant was unfriedly - no hello, no how can I help u. Better not to ask anything, otherwise u get the feeling of bothering the personnel... :-/ The location of the hotel is fine, not far from the city centre, close to restaurant and small food shops. I reccommend the hotel in summer season, it is equipped w/ aircon, but when u visit it during a colder season of the year, for sure ask for a heater straight away upon ur arrival!

Although a little way out it is close to the underground, and only a 15 minute walk to the railway station. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Room not big but everything needed for a comfortable stay. When I needed to check flight details the hotel gave their e-mail address and printed the details for me.

Room Tip: Don't worry about rooms overlooking mainroad, there is still very little noise and always someth...

If location is important to you then this isn't the hotel for you. It's a 10 minute walk from Wenceslas Square & a 20 minute walk to the Old Town.

Also the hotel advertises free wifi. This is true but you can only access it on the ground floor which is not much use if your room is on the fifth.

As for the hotel itself it's attractive & clean but the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the 2 girls on reception were quite abrupt and bordering on rude. There was a huge problem with the heating which pretty much meant the room was uninhabitable. When I spoke to the receptionist they said they knew there was a problem with it which begs the question why they were letting out rooms in this state. We were there 4 days and apparently during this time they were unable to get a technician to fix it. This resulted us moving rooms nearly every night to try and find one which wasn't like a furness.

We had a great trip in Prague but this hotel was the only downside

A little way out from the city centre but only a couple of minutes walk to the IP Pavlova tram / underground station and one or 2 stops later you are in the centre of Prague.
Great room, plenty of space. Staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
