“Truely a Great Vacation Home to Stay in Prague's Prime Location”
Reviewed 15 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

This is a well-maintained residential building with hundreds of years of history. The apartment has been recently renovated with the state-of-the-art facilities. The host prepares everything for his guests including the amenities of varieties of coffee, tea, wine and soft drinks. We were so impressed to find dental floss at the bathrooms. The location couldn’t be better. Located at the Kampa Island right by the Charles Bridget, the apartment is right in the middle of all the major attractions in Prague. My family had excellent travel experience staying at Jan’s home this time. Truly a great vacation home I would recommend to other travelers.

“Great apartment”

You can not go wrong with this apartment! This apartment was completely re-done less than 5 years ago. The owners did it right because this is also their vacation home. It has everything you need . . . ac, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, great coffee/cappuccino machine, 2 full bathrooms, etc. The also have tea and coffee and some snacks and a couple of beers and wine and water and cokes. These little things are very nice and appreciated when you are tired from traveling and just want to relax. Also, Jan provided transport for us to and from the train station. I am not sure if he can do that every time they rent or if he was just available for our stay, but we very much appreciated that. We have never had that before in all the rentals we have done. Jan was very easy to communicate with prior to the stay and during. And then the LOCATION!!! The views are obviously amazing, but even nicer is the central location. It was so easy to spend the morning at the castle and then stop by the apartment for a drink and then go to Old Town. Or go to the Jewish Quarter and then stop home and then back out. This was an amazing place and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

“The view! The view! The unbelieveable view!”
Reviewed 8 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

My husband, my mother, and I stayed in the apartment for 3 nights in April and we were very pleased. The apartment's location is ideal, the views out the windows are unbelievable. (I know, you saw the pictures on the website, but to see the view in person is 1000 times better!) One day we ate lunch there, opening the windows for fresh air, but also receiving a surprise live concert by a saxophonist on the bridge! We also loved the radio music available in both baths and kitchen.

The location is extremely convenient, you can walk across the Charles Bridge (Karlův most) to the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) in only 15 minutes, with Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) and the Municipal House (Obecní dům) just a few minutes walk beyond that.

But you’re right on Kampa Island which is part of the wonderful Lesser Town (Malostranská) which is filled with museums, villas, parks, churches, and restaurants of its own, and you can climb the picturesque streets up to Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) and St. Vitas Cathedral, or you can take a very short walk to Lesser Town Square (Malostranské náměstí) and catch tram #22 up to the Castle instead.

The apartment rooms are very spacious, although there is only one dresser/armoire which is only convenient for those in the master bedroom. The master bathroom has a tub with only a hand-held shower as is common in Europe. The other bathroom has a shower stall as well as a washer-dryer. One of us did not love the shower—very modern—but you can’t adjust the aim of the flow from the shower head. We all wished that the bathroom exhaust fans could be turned on for longer than 5 minutes at a time.

The apartment was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by how very well-stocked it was, much better than other apartments we’ve rented in the past. We will definitely recommend it to our friends, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a very special place to stay while in Prague.

We loved the apartment at the Charles Bridge. The location can't be beat. It was so easy to walk the bridge first thing in the morning before all of the tourists arrive.

You won't find a better place to stay in Prague than this wonderful apartment. It is about 10 steps from the Charles River Bridge and its windows have a postcard-worthy view of the bridge with the Prague Castle in the distance. The apartment itself is quiet, private, and incredibly well-appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms feature granite counters and high-end appliances. As an example, the espresso maker was better than the one we had at home so we are purchasing the same gourmet system for our home. There was nothing better than enjoying delicious lattes every morning to help us adjust to the 9-hour time difference. What made our stay even more memorable were the incredibly gracious owners. They provided us with tips on visiting the city that aren't in any guidebooks, recommendations for restaurants, and other much-appreciated assistance. It was as if we were staying in the home of long-time friends. We thank them for an amazing visit to Prague.

The title says it all.
The accommodations were just perfect. Location of the apartment was just what we were looking for. Everything we wanted to see in Prague was within walking distance. Very comfortable, very clean and perfectly furnished!!! Kitchen very efficient and overall a wonderful experience.
The owner/greeter, Jan, could not have been kinder or more helpful.
Thanks Jan for all your help, you made our trip to be one of the most memorable ones we have ever taken!

This apt. is right on the end of the Charles Bridge, so the location is perfect for accessing all that Prague has to offer. Jan is just the best. Picked us (my husband and I) up at the train station, and later that week dropped us back off. The apt. is clean, everything looks new, including the kitchen and the bathrooms (2..perfect, as our daughter joined us halfway thru the week) Jan had generously stocked the frig with a few essentials, too. The apt has large windows that look out on the bridge that is so beautiful at night, but shade boards can be easily put up, so you have privacy, and can sleep in late. (The sun was rising by 5:30am!). Wi-fi worked well, and Jan has charges that we could use as well.
We had a wonderful time. Thanks again Jan.
