Hotel Denisa is not 4 star hotel but exceptionally good 3 star hotel. Easy to get there - from city centre (metro stop Dejvická) and from the airport (bus stop Dejvická) it takes 3 minutes by foot. Quiet surrounding with many restaurants.
Receptionists were pleasant, including all staff. They provided us all needed information including recommendation what to do.
Rooms was not large one but newly equipped and cozy. It is pitty that they haven´t refurbished doors - it would improve the atmosphere. A bottle of wine was nice surprice.
Breakfast was filling, with reasonable options. Sure, it might be better but worse as well. For the price we paid (use hotel websites) I can not complain!

Room tip: we had a room in the top floor - very quiet

I spent three nights at the Denisa Hotel in Prague. It was just fine, not terribly exciting and in a sense almost a retro 70s or 80s East bloc experience. The location is quite convenient to the metro and trams and buses to many parts of the city. It is near the large Dejvicka plaza and station and it is convenient for shopping (supermarket right around the corner) and there are several restaurants and pubs in the immediate area.

It was billed as a 4 star hotel, but in my opinion that is quite a stretch. The rooms are small but they do have flat screen tvs (albeit small) and refrigerators. The bathrooms were nice with good baths and showers. The view out of our room was of a crowded courtyard/back of apartments. Not a lot of feelings of privacy. The elevator is old and small. The public areas are also quite limited - a small lobby and a smallish breakfast room.

As for the breakfasts - they were fine - quite nice eggs, breads were ok,good jams and cheeses and bacon and meats. It was nice to have fruits and yogurts and juices. Coffee was adequate. They do keep pretty nice long breakfast hours which is nice for a variety of schedules.

The staff was nice and accommodating. They gladly supplied an adapter for the electric outlet and helped answer any questions we had.

The value for the room was great. I would consider this hotel again, but honestly would probably look directly in the center of town first.

Room tip: A room on the front with balcony would be most desirable.

It's a nice hotel, close to Dejvicka station (metro, tram and bus). The room was clean and comfortable; there are tea & coffee making facilities and mini bar. Breakfasts were pretty good and available from 7-10.30, good selection of hot and cold food. All the staff was very nice and spoke good English.
The location is pleasant and safe. There are enough pubs and restaurants not far from the hotel. Five minutes is enough to get to subway or tram stop. There is a supermarket 1 minutes from hotel and a KFC, sandwich shop 3 minutes away. Free WIFI is available in all areas.

I will stay in this hotel again.
