“Dinner ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

We decided to dine here to enjoy some seafood, after a few days of duck, pork, sausage etc. Actually the girl who took care of us was very nice and attentive. The appetizer we ordered were tapas with anchovies, which were rather ordinary, and a duck liver patè, which was by far the best plate we had during the dinner. After a soup of the day, which was good, we went on with a tuna fish with polenta (actually the cram and the mushrooms weren't exceptional) and a scallops plate, which was ok. The dessert we shared was "selection of ice cream and sorbetS" (2 ice cream and 1 sorbet). The bill was reasonable. The point were they could easily improve is to tune the service, according the the Guests' needs: in less than ! hour we set, we had our order taken and we had 3 courses served. Really too fast. Once you are on holiday, you do not want to rush but relax and enjoy. I'm sure this was done in good faith and that maybe they will learn from previous experiences.

“Excellent Food...you MUST eat here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Last year when we were in Prague, we went to Little Whale because it was a Top Choice recommendation in The Lonely Planet guidebook. We loved our meal so much then that we went back again this year. And once again we were delighted with the service and high quality and presentation of the food. We made a reservation because the place is very small and can be busy during the summer. I love the Tapas appetizers they offer: a selection of small bites at around $3.75 each. We ordered the stuffed mushroom caps and roasted red pepper with feta and pesto and the four of us shared them. The bread that comes to the table is fresh and homemade, served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Three of us each ordered the pasta of the day which was a homemade linguine with a white wine sauce and it was loaded with fresh prawns and mussels. It was absolutely delicious! The other order was the seafood soup and it was also loaded with fresh seafood and was very tasty. The desserts were delicious too: meringues covered in whip cream strawberries and cinnamon and trio of homemade ice cream and sorbets. Exceptional and very generous portions! Our meal with two shared appetizers, four entrees, three desserts, four glasses of wine, two beer and one port and four cappuccinos came to a very reasonable $125 four four people including tip. The food is fantastic and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing,so do yourself a favour and seek out this small gem of a restaurant for a very memorable meal while in Prague! You will not be disappointed!

“Great Birthday evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Fantastic little restaurant near Charles' Bridge in Prague. We visited here for my girlfriend's Birthday. Jason the chef/owner provided us with a great evening, excellent seafood and perfect service at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to any couple visiting Prague.

“Great paella”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

When I first walked by this little eatery, I was stopped by the delicious smell of garlic and seafood. Came back later for the paella for two, which did not disappoint. Tapas were good and just the thing to go with a glass of beer or wine. My favorite was the roasted red pepper and the spicy whole shrimp. Service was very good and included the requisite finger bowl for navigating the shrimp and mussels.
