We stopped by just to appreciate the architecture and the cool staircase. Take a look up the center of the staircase, or climb the staircase and look straight down.

The building has an impressive appearance, worth seeing. The cafe on the second floor offers a gorgeous view of the plaza. They have a great selection of various deserts and coffee drinks. However, service is mediocre and not very friendly. The vegetarian sandwich took about 30 min to bring and had bacon inside.

Black madonna house is the most interesting when the sun lights from the side at the facade, as the shades made its plasticity more visible, also they have super decorated cubistic coffee shop inside, the cakes are fantastic, coffe also, but we got better in Prague, but the cakes and house are neat.

Amazing building. Everything designed according to the Cubist style. From chandeliers in the cafe on the ground floor, to the restaurant on top and exhibition of the Cubist furniture. The staircase is amazing, but -- which is very important -- there was made extensive work towards accesibility. There was made lift, where wheelchair (and extra companion of the wheelchair person) can fit, not mentioning of the modern toilet for people with limited abilities. Everything was made without visible changes in the Cubist building.
On the ground floor there is also a souvenir shop (where you may buy a Cubist doll/cat/whatever).
Coffee with cream was tasty and waiters were nice.

This building is a star in the history of cubism in Prague you should always look up rather than at your feet because the buildings are rich in history especially the art deco ones. Not only is there the cafe but the museum of Czech cubsim.
