Description: We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials.

We visited the restaurant and ordered two soups for starters that were delicious (one with bacon, the other with creamy mushroom), then we ordered the goulash, rabbit in wine sauce and another beef dish. They dishes were flavorful and tasty at very good prices.

This restaurant does a great job of adding a twist to many traditional Czech dishes. I especially recommend the roasted rabbit. They also prepare traditional dishes the old-fashioned way, so it will appeal to people with different tastes. They have some of the best-tasting Pilsner Urquell in Prague (and it does taste differently in different locations depending on their beer taps, temperature, etc). Very friendly staff! English is widely spoken. They are always full, so call ahead and make a reservation.

We visited this restaurant kind of accidentally while making our way to the tram stop. However, we were not disappointed. We came during the lunch time, so ordered two main meals from the lunch menu. The food arrived after just a few minutes and was very delicious! Also, I must mention the prices which are very good (especially during the lunch). We paid just over £8 for two main meals (no drinks, though)! The service was very good as well.

I can definitely recommend this place if you are ever in that part of Prague.
