“A hidden gem”
Reviewed 4 July 2012

Don't let the unassuming exterior of this restaurant fool you. They take an Italian view of the Czech classics and turn them into gastronomic delights - loved the traditional stew with dumplings (light as a feather!) and the 'wedding stew' with sweet and sour sauce and cranberries. Next time, I'll definitely try their Italian classics. Well worth a visit and actually only a 12 minute walk (or so) from the Charles Bridge - and downhill from the castle. Don't miss it!

“Nice Facelift... honest food”
Reviewed 23 June 2012

Went there for lunch yesterday with my wife. Had a pint of pilzen which as fresh off the tap and cold. Do not be too surprised if the beer mug is half foam/head ;)
Had the lamb shank and my wife had the chicken schnitzel. My shank was brilliant, however the schnitzel was very average.
Good food, what you would expect from a Prague bar/restaurant.
The new facelift has done the place well, the outside seating area looks a lot more modern and looks like they have done away with some of the old rude Czech waiters who used to serve/snarl at the customers (which to be honest is customary in Czech customer service ;))
Would I go back there again = YES

“Options for vegetarians / vegans”
Reviewed 16 March 2012

Very nice restaurant, good ambience and clean and modern but still retains some intimacy. Very helpful waiter the night we were there, happy to accomodate dietary requirements and answer questions about food ingredients. We went for pizza / pasta options and the food was well cooked and seasoned and portions were good. Service was efficient and friendly and no funny business on the bill adding extras on and surcharges which is refreshing!
