Description: This traditional restaurant with a rich history is situated in a house built in the 16th century. Not far from the Charles Bridges. Right on one of the most popular tourist routes known as the Royal Way (Královská cesta). Despite this, it has preserved its quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The interior is cosy, in the period style with spectacular vaulted ceilings with fragments of old hand paintings inspired by G. Arcimboldo. In the summer season, the restaurant's large windows are open directly onto the Lesser Quarter Square (Malostranské náměstí) and it is an ideal place for sitting back and enjoying your meal and the atmosphere of Old Prague. Our cuisine is modern and offers in addition to traditional Czech dishes several original specialities with game and duck, as well as burgers and pizza. Menu cards are available in Czech, English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. We have PILSNER URQUELL, traditional Pilsner lager beer, on tap. Our wine collection offers many quality wines from all over the world and includes also wines from Moravian winery MUSIL, whose wines are presented at the “Wine Salon” (collection of top 100 Czech wines) each year.

We ate at this restaurant three times. I thought the food was the best we had in Prague - the rabbit was excellent. I didn't find the prices any better or any worse than elsewhere. We were lucky to have had three waiters. Two of the three were good. I had to laugh when reading the other reviews - we did have the old waiter, too. Yes, he was on the rude side, but I found him more amusing than maddening. I think it is a result of the location. I liked the atmosphere - piano but no piano player when we were there. I would certainly eat there again (but would probably approach one of the younger waiters to be seated).

Pizza with 4 toppings $11 (that was the most expensive one), spaghetti under $10. Good atmosphere, friendly service, bottle of wine very reasonable!

We had a nice lunch there while in Lesser Town. Good pizza and beer. We sat inside as it was really hot and we had been walking all morning. We had prompt service. I have noticed lots of below average reviews. They also have a walk up window for a quick slice of pizza. Main part of restaurant (night) is downstairs. We were happy with our pizza and would go back again.

Had a great goulash in a bread bun. Plus a delicious apple strudel. Good Czech food. Located at the side of the square in Mala Strana leading to Prague Castle there is a constant stream of cable cars, people and traffic to entertain you, if you sit outside. Fairly reasonable pricing. Czech koruna 385 for a hot choc, coffee, goulash and apple strudel.

Eating here was a mistake. While the food was good, the waiter was rude the moment we walked in the door. This is the older waiter ... the younger one was fine. The older one acted like he didn't speak English, and got very annoyed if we asked questions about the menu. They added on charges without our knowledge -- a table fee, and they make you pay per person for the bread, without asking. The waiter wouldn't split the check, and he got really annoyed when we took a while trying to figure out what each of us owed. He grumbled "TOURISTS!" loud enough so we would hear. He kept grumbling and getting very impatient, I thought he was going to explode. Then he told one of the girls in our group 'You better get out of my way!!" Not bad English for someone who didn't speak a work when we arrived. I think if this guy hates tourists so much, maybe he shouldn't be working in a tourist location. By the way, if you are Czech, he will treat you nice. But if he thinks you are anything else, watch out!
