It's my second stay at this hotel. Every time just for business, for 1 night. It is always easy to book - the hotel is big and the town of Usti nad Labem is very small, so u always can get a room if u travel, f.ex. from germany to Prague.... . It is pretty old, even old-fashioned, reminds me of the hotels in 80s and 90s in the Soviet Union. But they try to modernize it, and really take care of all the facilities. It was VERY cheap, nice big room with nice view and with a conditioner (not all the rooms have conditioners, so they ask if I want to have it because it was very hot outside). Perfect personnel! Extremely helpful, always at your service! I decided to have dinner in the lobby-bar, because it was late and I were not sure it was possible to find any restaurant nearby. Big portions, pretty good food (don't forget it's a small town in Check Republic!) and almost for free, really! My king-size salad+gratinated asparagus+2 glasses red wine+1 bottle spring water = 9 EURO! I really recommend that hotel to everyone (if you are somehow have to visit Usti)))

Room Tip: Better to choose upper floors, u have a view from there. Ask for a conditioner if u need it - not al...

Nothing to complain about really. Just be ready to go back in time. Everything would look brand new if we were in the 70s. Even the customers. Everything is kitch (but old kitch), you can picture yourself as Brejnev visiting the city back in the days. No ammenities. Wifi works fine though. Do not shower too late in the morning (ie after 7:30am) or you might have cooler water with no pressure. Cleanliness is ok. Let's say i would have set up the place on fire if it was in a western country, but here....

We spent two nights with customers (approx 20) at this hotel.
Receptionist was 17 and spoke no foreign languages.
Don't be mistaken by the photos on their website! 1-2 rooms might be similar to the photos, the rest are are tiny and stink. We tried to change at least some rooms for the customers, but it tooks hours of fight.
Dinner that was rather lowkey and lasted 2 hrs.
The bar tender gave us the boot at 23:00 because he wanted to go to the discoteque. (So did we).
We knew we would have a change in the program next day so we tried to cancel the next dinner, but we were not allowed to. On top of that they claimed they would have a loss on that since they would not be able to sell drinks to us.
Local bars around are fun.

We stayed at the Hotel Vladimir in April 2006, attending a friends wedding in the town. The hotel was relatively easy to book (a few language problems!) but from the moment we arrived we found the staff to be very helpful and worked hard to answer our many queries. The rooms were clean, spacious and accurately described on the various internet links avalable. Breakfast was a mixture of breads, cheeses, ham and a small choice of cooked food etc.. In short nothing spectacular but certainly enough.

The hotel is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the town centre.

Is located in the center of the city. The hall is old, without seats. If you want wait somebody, you will still standing.
The elevators are also old.

When I went to the room the corridor was narrow.
The room, however is not bad. It was re/done last year, and it had good apparence.
This hotel have not WIFI nor ADSL. Yes, the room has internet, but only for modem.

I dislike the brekfast. The quality was very very poor.
The problem is that there is not more 4 stars hotels in this city. Then, next time that I will travel to Usti nad labem, I will host there.
