Amazing value for lunch and lovely wheat beer. Ask to see the daily menu. It's a big place so less atmospheric at lunchtime. We really enjoyed it though.

Went to eat at Pegas on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist in Brno. Glad we went as we had a fantastic meal with lovely beer! I had the light beer, hubby had the dark..both very nice..food authentic Czech fare, good hearty food with plenty of flavour..waiters were great..the restaurant was heaving but they worked the tables with smooth efficiency! Great atmosphere if you want to eat in a loud, atmospheric pub with lots going on. Perfect place to share food and beers with your friends!

This was my fourth visit to Pegas (the restaurant/bar not hotel) We ate two starter dishes and shared the ribs. It was a Saturday night which is a quiet night in Brno so the place was the quietest we have ever seen it (as a rule you need to book or wait) The beer and service was good, and we were given lovely complimentary plum puddings; though check the bill as this time we were billed for 2 lots of bread though did not ask for or eat the bread (it was 12CZK so I included that as a portion of the tip)

Stayed for two days in the hotel wich is placed very close to the town centre. Very good service in the reception, and they were very helpfull in all ways. Even helped us to send a couple of important things that we had left behind in the hotel by mail to our new hotel in Prague. Nice breakfast, nice food and nice beer. :-)
Good value for money, we will be back for sure.

Great location and good service. Beer is good but be aware that the food is more aligned with pub food than a restaurant.
