Helena picked us up from our hotel in Brno and spent 10 wonderful hours on tour. We began with a tour of the Lednice Chateau and gardens. Along the way we found live music to listen too, saw how the people live, and experienced incredible views of the countryside.
We began our wine tour in earnest in Valtice where Helena introduced us to family winemakers and toured their private cellars. We then visited two other cellars to taste an incredible variety of white wines and some reds as well. We next popped into the Valtice Chateau where the wine salon offered 100 Czech wines from Bohemia and Moravia to taste.
After this we visited the town of Mikulov to visit the Jewish cemetery and walk the neighborhoods. We ended with a visit to Rodinne Vinarstvi Mikulov for a private tour of the restaurant, cellar, and tasting their wonderful production. It was like visiting an old friend. We rested on the scenic drive through the Pavlava Hills back to Brno.

Helena was extraordinarily knowledgable of local history, culture, and wine. She asked many questions during tour planning to customize the best experience possible. Her fee is reasonable and presents great value for the cost. Simply a kind and wonderful guide who I recommend without hesitation. You can not go wrong with her.
Thanks again for a fantastic and unforgetable day, Helena.

Helena was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She offered the tour to meet my schedule and arranged it.
Actually I couldn’t find any other tour which accept me as a single traveler or another guide was busy on my wish day
Therefore I nearly gave up to look around south Moravia and taste wine.
But Helena was flexible and thanks to her I could have nice day!! I visited Miklov, Valtice and Lenice, and had lots of sampling of Moravia Wine.
I strongly recommend her to you.
Thank you!

Thank you Helena, you are the most dedicated and thorough private tour guide my wife & I have ever had. Starting from a few months ago when you commenced research on my family's Brno heritage, to a wonderful flexible tour today pointing out all the beauty of Brno.
If you are considering seeing the second biggest city in the Czech republic, taking a tour with Helena is a must.

Helena led a full day trip that was full of beauty. We left Brno first thing in the morning for the drive to the Punkva Cave. We hiked down from the parking lot instead of taking the tram. Very refreshing walk to the entrance of the cave. Helena had arranged the entrance time and we arrived perfectly for time slot. The beauty was incredible to see. After walking, we boarded a boat to continue the viewing as we traversed and underground river. Once the tour was completed, we enjoyed lunch in a local town restaurant. The afternoon was full with visits and tours of an old still active convent then the Pernstejn Castle. Great finish to the day. Once again, Helena provided an excellent day full of seeing many wonderful things and the knowledge about each location visited. Excellent opportunity to see more of Czech Republic than the cities with a great informative guide. Highly recommend Helena. Two tour with two great experiences. Thank you Helena.

The Battlefield tour our family undertook with Helena was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had in our three trips to Europe. As travellers from Australia this was a life long dream - to tour the Napoleonic battlefield of Austerlitz. Helena made that dream come true - she made the battlefield come alive. She has a particular gift for explaining the topography - a real plus for battlefield nerds. Helena puts her heart into the tour, tirelessly explaining key elements of the campaign and its effects. We felt so welcome as Helena introduced us to locals on the tour. Her knowledge of Brno was an added bonus and we revelled in stories about the old communist years and medieval times. Helena is truly lovely person who puts everything into her tours. Highly recommended.
