“reasonable city museum”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Quite a reasonable city museum, quite a varied selection of exhibits. There are some signs in English, but some lack a decent English translation. A good place to spend a couple of hours

“Kids friendly and father pleasing experience”
Reviewed 4 February 2014

The technical exhibitions are just fine, showing solid technical background - few unique pieces, but sound composition and explanatory tour.
There are often thematic sub-exhibititions, it makes impression that the museum really cares.
What I liked most is that kids are encouraged to be involved, to touch and play and discover. According to me, the Brno museum is by far more attractive to kids than more renowned Prague Technical museum.

“I could walk around forever”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

If you're a bit of a technical addict you should go here. Lots of old machines, old cars, steam-engines, russian jetengines, and most of the stuff displayed in a way you can see how it works/used to work. But not just hard-core machinery, also several sewing kits, old-school dentist equipment, and lots and lots more. Just go there and see for yourself!

“Place to lose kids for some time”
Reviewed 5 December 2013 via mobile

The place itself is wonderful, but one must always be aware of what is where. Shortly, my first visit was a little bit puzzling, but now, I enjoy every visit. If you have kids, just go upstairs and there is a big scientific playground.
