Our Canadian guest and me had a three-course meal, complemented with very nice wine. The staff was very professional, fluent in English, unobtrusive but helpful. The meal was more than nice, however a bit pricey, certainly not for everyday dining. The menu is dominated by Mediterranean cuisine, such a relief from the omnipresent fried cheese, fatty meats and thick creamy sauces with dumplings. The competitive advantage of this venue is the location: almost in the town centre, yet quiet, overlooking the park below, under trees. The seating in the garden is marvellous, with pleasant atmosphere. Time passed quickly, carefully attended by the staff, we realised too late that we had spent three hours enjoying the courses one after another, the wine, the locale. Certainly one of the finest, most elegant restaurants in Olomouc for a decent meal or evening with a loved one. Not exactly haute cuisine, still affordable and delicious.
