Could this be the worst hotel in Europe? Probably not but it is the worst I have ever stayed in. In fact is was bad enough to be funny. The furniture was either recently bought from the local charity shop or had been there for the past 35 years. The bedding and pillow seemed to be of a similar vintage. The TV was probably only 20 years old but didn't work anyway. The towels were wafer thin.
Breakfast was apparently included in the price but I was asked to pay seperately. The food was OK at least.
The staff were reasonably helpful. They ordered a taxi for me anyway.
The only reason I stayed here was that it was close to the train station and still open late at night. They are its biggest positives. Oh, and it gave me a laugh.
