A really nice Hotel in a top location
Walking distance across the bridge to main city.
First hotel l stayed in Poland left a good impression.
The parking is a bit difficult being around the back and underground but Porters were jogging around to let you in.
We had a room on the top 6th floor, which was excellent except the lift only goes to the 4th.
The room was excellent very comfortable and clean with facilities for longer stays pots, pans, cutlery, jug, BUT no tea or coffee in the room.
We had Dinner out of the front of the Hotel was very good, nice atomishphere.
The Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly.
We would stay again

Nice hotel that is well located in the more quiet part of the town whilst you can still easily walk into the centra. This hotel has the same level of service as the international big names and has a strong local flavor.
Well recommended.

We stayed in this fine house as a group from austria for 5 days. The rooms in the
old house are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We enjoied one of the best
breakfast buffets and were also astonished about the quality of the restaurant kitchen.
Only the bayrische bierkeller is very loud and the service should be better !!
The hotel is near the old town with a fine view to the waterfront.

This is a very nice hotel, situated on the east side of the lovely Gdansk waterfront, with superb views across to the Old Town, which is only a short walk away. Rooms vary somewhat, so it is slightly hit and miss what you will get (and if you get the fifth floor you have to walk the last flight as the lift only goes to the fourth!); some are more spacious than others. Some rooms look out over the waterfront and these are very nice. The bathrooms are spotless and well appointed. There is free wifi and downstairs there is a micro brewery which further adds to an already interesting place. The restaurant serves very good food and the breakfast buffet is pretty good too. There is free parking on the street at the front of the hotel. This wasn't my first stay here and it won't be my last!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the waterfront and avoid the fifth floor!

After a 2 days' stay i only have the highest appreciation for this hotel.
Beautiful location, superb beer and excellent and friendly staff.
However,it is in a case of an emergency that one can judge on real staff quality.I happened to break a limb and Magda and her reception colleague rose to the occasion by most efficiently directing me through the maze of medical providers with concommitant appointment foibles.Well done!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Hotel Gdansk is the best boutique hotel in the Tricity and a true flagship hotel of Gdansk. Uniquely situated by the picturesque yacht marina, in the heart of the city, the hotel is often recognized as a special place in the city center. The hotel has two synergic components - a granary from the XVIIIth century, restored with great attention to detail, enchanting with its elegance and history, and the Yachting part, whose modern decorating themes infuse the interiors with a sea-inspired look. Thus, the fascinating history and traditions of the city of Gdansk are strongly present in the both parts of Hotel Gdansk. The Spa in Hotel Gdansk is one of the most modern and fashionable Spas at the Baltic coast, and one of the best Med Spas in Poland.Hotel Gdansk Restaurant is an unusual restaurant in a unique place. It serves exquisite dishes of Polish and Gdansk regional cuisine. The mini-brewery is a great addition to the boutique complex and a very interesing attraction for Hotel Gdansk guests, who may here try the best beer in Poland. Our Schwarzbier (dark beer) received this title during the prestigious beer contest in Zywiec 2011. There is always someting interesting happening in our brewery. At least 3 times a week you can enjoy live music. ... more   less
