This is a good place to stay. I have a feeling that the hotel caters mainly for the business community and we had a great overall impression of the place.
Although not located at a stone’s throw from the city centre, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and bus 186 takes you to Gdansk central in approximately 10 minutes. With good weather and feeling energetic, a 20-minute walk will take you there. Taxi drivers are always nearby if you need one.
We had a twin room on the 2nd floor and were happy with it: tea/coffee making facilities, TV with English speaking channels and a decent WC/shower, helpful staff with a good command of English.
Breakfast is good and will cost you PLN35.00 extra.
Restaurant also has an interesting menu at reasonable prices.

I paid less than £60 (300zł) for three nights, which seemed to be very good value.

On checking in, the receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. The room was very clean, spacious and modern, with two chairs, desk space and a wardrobe. Tea and coffee, along with two bottles of mineral water were provided in the room. Shower was nice and plenty of towels were provided.

The room's view wasn't great. My room was on a corner so had two windows: one looking out to a car park, the other onto the main road. Although this wasn't particularly noisy.

At 35zł per day, I chose not to take the breakfast and instead get food in the city. The old town is about 15-20 minutes walk and the station 40 minutes walk. A bus stop is located directly outside the hotel, where the railway station can be reached for 3zł each way. There is also a tram stop nearby, with services to the beach (Stogi Plaza), again for 3zł each way. The location was a bit far out of the centre for my liking, so do take this into account if you don't like being too far from the city centre.

The hotel's restaurant is reasonably priced (for a hotel), offering meals for around 30zł upwards.

I would happily stay at this hotel again, but would rather stay at a hotel nearer the city centre.

Room Tip: Get a room away from the main road

Fantastic value for the money here. You have a 15-minute walk to Old Town, and a bus stop just outside which takes about the same time to go the central station.

The hotel is new, modern and clean. No mini-bar but a kettle is provided. There's a sauna free-of-charge and a good restaurant. Location is not ideal for travellers; unless you're like us and rather spend your money on activites than on hotels. Cause this one is a real bargain. There's a gas station nextdoors for conviniences.

We'd say this is a great choice for a Gdansk vacation.

Stayed for 2 nights at the focus hotel. Walked from the old town to the hotel on foot which is approx 20 mins. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to town and train station within a few mins. A taxi is approx 20zł (£4) to reach town centre.
Arrived slightly early however, friendly staff let us store our cases and return later. Rooms spacious, comfy and very clean. Situated right on main road yet you wouldn't think so when windows are shut.
Overall ok experience.

We stayed 5 nights here in Aug. Arrived about 7.30pm and the lady on reception said that she couldn't check which room we were allocated as the computer system was down...BUT...she gave us a 40 zloty voucher to use in the bar and said it would only be a maximum half hour to sort out our room. We quite happily toddled off to the bar and sat outside with a glass of wine and beer and within 10 mins she came to say she'd allocated our room...in fact we used the voucher to repeat our drinks and enjoyed chilling a while longer. But how nice to have what could have been an annoying situation dealt with so pleasantly and promptly . The big plus of this hotel is that there is a bus stop just outside which takes you on the 5 min journey into the old town....or you can walk...about 15 mins. Our room was a decent size....very clean, good shower and tea & coffee making in the room which was a nice surprise. Would happily recommend.

I stayed 2 nights 28-30.01 in this hotel. The day before I arrived to the hotel I called reception and was given all directions about getting to the Focus Hotel from the Gdansk Airport by Karolina - receptionist. I arrived late (1.30 am) and was given excellent service by Agnieszka-receptionist, and you can tell that smile goes a long way especially after having a long journey..:) Next day I had a late dinner, again waiter Damin gave us a professional service and was very attentive!
Rooms were ok but. very samll duvey - is it really for 2 people? Aircon works fine. Dust on the top room’s wardrobe and behind the ventilating system in the bathroom would require some attention, everything else was spotless. Recommend someone who is looking for a good standard and price hotel which is only within 15 minutes by local bus to the Gdansk centre.)186&122 bus cost 3.60 or 12zl for 24hrs ticket. to get to the hotel from the airport take n3 night bus or any that goes to the pkp -railway central station There are night busses from the railway station, and 186/122 bus. Next to the hotel there are no shops but petrol station where you can certainly get some quickie meal on the go.
I will definitely stay there again.

The focus hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Gdansk and vicinity. The customer service is very good which is so hard to come by in Poland. Great food, comfy rooms. Just remember to prebook your breakfast and car park if you can as otherwise it may be rather expensive!
