A museum which makes you cry!
Built around a tale of war-time oppression, this is a museum which nicely captures a moment in time and celebrates the heroic actions of ordinary people trying to protect a valuable heritage. This is only a small museum, but it packs a punch! ...and don't miss the 'wall' at the rear of the museum. It's not just the monument it appears to be on a quick glance. We oldies (accompanied by our 15 year-old granddaughter) thought the area was just a mural at the end of a courtyard, until the junior member of our crew related the mural to the area in which we were standing! Very moving.
