Reviewed 31 July 2014

Hotel Logos is in a nice old building. Inside it is much more modern than it looks out outside. I had a huge room above the entrance which is to the small quiet street.

Room was clean and classic style decorated and everything including wifi worked out excellent.
The reception, lobby are and the restaurant of the hotel are extremely well air conditioned and on a really, really hot day it was more comfortable so sit with your laptop in a big restaurant sipping local beers than outside.

The personal of the hotel very friendly and helpful, speak fluently English. Because of my busy schedule I was allowed to check in to my room 11 AM and when I when I had to left the hotel 04 AM, I was given with a lunch box which was delicious to have at airport. The receptionist even help me with the taxi in the early mornings hours because for the reason I don’t know my regular taxi company let me down and a taxi ordered the before didn't come at all.

Hotel Logos is situated in small street, even somehow a romantically area, but still almost at the center of Gdansk. Tram connection are very good and just around the conner is a busy Wrzeszcz area with shopping mall Manhattan and lots of restaurants.

Hotel Logos is a highly recommended place to stay while visiting Gdansk or Sopot.

This hotel (larger than you may think when you arrive) is in a pretty side street in Wrzeszcz, a very grotty suburb of Gdansk - around 2-3 miles from the centre. The hotel has a restaurant serving polish specialities which I was unable to try as the cook decided to shut the kitchen at 8 rather than 9 as I had been told by an apparently very helpful receptionist. Hence I arrived too late to eat. Forced out therefore to find only other reasonable restaurant in same street (the Green Parrot) was also taking no further orders at 8.30. Only other availability were kebab and burger bars and a pizza place.

My nice room was on the second floor under the roof, a fair walk from reception and overlooking the railway. No black out blinds, and one standard blind was broken. As such woke up so early I was away before breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Room Tip: Ask to face the street to reduce noise from the railway.

The hotel is not at the old town but its very easy to get there by trams. By the same trams (6, 11,12) you also can get to/from main train station. Its easy to go to Sopot and Gdynia. Staff is very helpful, they explain how to find what you need. They have good breakfast, if you need you can order take away breakfast. There is a beautiful neighbourhood around the hotel.

Room Tip: One disadvantages is there is no refrigerator. When i was wake up i head the sounds of trains. But...

We found this hotel by a friend who lives in Gdańsk as we needed a hotel for 3 nights before we could move to our hotel for 9 nights in Sopot. It is charming. It's in a 100+ year old building. It does not have an elevator, but that is the only down part. It is clean, nice rooms, and charming. The food in the restaurant was excellent! No need to go search for a restaurant outside of the hotel, although there are several close by one block up to the main road in Wreszcz (Suburb of Gdańsk).

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front side of the hotel. The train tracks run behind the back side, although...

Brilliant stay at hotel Logos. We stayed in a large room with a kingsize bed, a modern ensuite and free Wi-Fi. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was varied with fruits, cereals, yogurt, cheese, cold meats, breads, jam and local dishes. There were also scrambled egg and another hot dish each day. The tram stop is less than 5 minutes. All in all a great spot. Cleaners were on the ball each day.

We stayed at Hotel Logos for 4 nights recently and have nothing but praise for the place. Friendly helpful staff, clean modern rooms and all the facilities you'd expect including free wifi. The breakfast is a large buffet with something for everyone and a great start to the day.
The hotel is about 3km from the city centre but the tram service is probably the best we've ever seen anywhere. Number 6 and 12 go straight into the city and you will never be waiting for more than 2 or 3 minutes for the next one. A good tip is to buy your ticket from the kiosk across the road from the tram stop before you get on (and don't forget to validate it on the tram). You can buy tickets from the driver but they usually have no English and can be a bit rude.
Gdansk is absolutely stunning and Hotel Logos is a great base to explore it from.

the room was very good it was nice hotel the staff was friendly to you as you came in or out . A very good location but you have to get a tram to the centre and back as it 3 miles away . Nice and clean rooms. Good food at the hotel restaurant it serves from 12 until 9.00pm, sham that there was no way of getting a drink/snacks after 9.00pm

The bar/ restaurant closes at 9.00 pm every day . There is no way that you can get a cup of tea after that time there no way you can even make one in rooms as there no tea making equipment. Which after a full day out been nice . Only 2 bottles of water given once there used up that was it did not replace all week. Same with the bathroom soaps
