Bar Tyrystycznk hails from the communist era's when the Government subsidised home style meals for those who struggled. Following the fall of communism most of these cafeteria style eateries closed up however a couple survived.
After eating out for two weeks straight this was just what my partner and I needed. Affordable home style meal consisting of soup, pancakes filled with cabbage, side of mushrooms and of course pierogi. We were stuffed and satisfied and wish we'd found the place earlier.
The menu is in Polish so do your research before you arrive as there is a big queue and best not to hold it up as the pensioners may get a little impatient!
