The hotel was clean and nice, parking was right next to the entrance, reception staff was helpful and spoke English. The hotel is located within a walking distance of the old town of Gdansk, which is definitely a major attraction. The only minus was that we did not get coffee in the morning. The restaurant staff was not very attentive in replenishing the breakfast buffet and the staff ignored my attempts to get their attention. However, the hotel services include nescafe in the room, so we got our morning coffee anyway.

We stayed at the Novotel as part of a group and we very pleased with the accommodation, staff and breakfast. As said by previous reviewers, the hotel is in a good location, just about 3 or 400 metres from the old town. Very easily accessed from the airport by taking a bus to the railway station and then either a 10-15 minute walk from there or a direct tram ride will take you almost to the door of the hotel. Highly recommended!

A hotel offering rather better service than the Ibis chain of the same owners. It has a particularly good breakfast offering in the restaurant, and it is easily accessible, surprisingly so, and also well placed for those wishing to explore the old town of Gdansk, the objective of most tourists coming to the city. The free wifi facility was available but not too easy to use.

This years vacation we decided to go to Gdansk. I found this hotel on Accors website during a 50% off campaign. It was good value for the money we paid, but I would not pay full price for this hotel.
It's located on an island just a couple of minutes walk from the old town, so the location was really good. Very quiet around the hotel and still close to everything.
The whole hotel is quite worn, I do not consider it a 3 star hotel it's more like a 2 star hotel.
The service was okay, but the room cleaning was very sloppy, they missed things every day( like towels, toilet paper, spider web). The mineral water and coffe that was included in our rate they missed to replace 3 days out of 6.
The floor was wet by the wall between the room and bathroom. The shower cabin is probably not properly sealed.
But if you get a good deal on the price per night and regard the hotel as a 2 star it can still be worth staying at this hotel.

The location is good, as the hotel are located in a quiet surrondings on the Granary island , 5 minutes walk from the main street. The siperior room is very good, but they don't have a flatscreen TV. Rge breakfast is good, but quite expenssive, 42 zloty per day, and it's possible to have breakfast on a cafe for about 20-25 zloty. Though the breakfast service start at o'clock on Monday-Friday,. That's good.
But if you're thinkig of bringing your laptop with you and do some work from your hotelroom, tou'd better choose another hotel, Because the Internettconnection in the third floor(topfloor) come and go. So it's alomost like a non-existing Internettconnection. And I would guess that the Internett connection is a bit better on the 1.st and the 2.nd floor. as there is a busniss cener on the 1.st floor with excellent connection. The staff at the hotel is great, but all in all this is a average + hotel so I will give it 3,5 stars all in all.
