“A must-go place in Gdansk!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2014

You must visit this street when you travel to Gdansk! It's a really beautiful street with a lot of souvenir shops, amber shops, candy shops and restaurants. It's like a 5 minute walk from the central station. The Neptune's Fountain (Fontanna Neptuna) is on this street. It also looks amazing at night!

“The heart of the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

It is impossible to think about visiting Gdansk without walking this street. This is where everything is at. The main pedestrian street stretches from the river to the Amber museum and is lined with beautiful buildings, many museums, souvenir shops, cosy little cafés and much more.

The highlights of the street are the town hall with its bell tower and the Neptune fountain. But there is much more to see. Another interesting place to visit is the candy factory. Or maybe start your trip at the tourist information center opposite to the town hall.

For some reason wherever in Gdansk you go, you will always end up strolling along Dluga street. But it is not a bad place to be.

“Heart of Old Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2014

The heart of Old Town. I love the main Street (Dluga) and the bridge to the emerging area across the canal. Whether you want a club, a restaurant, a bar or a simple cafe you will find it on Dluga! Best, busiest time to visit is in August.
