This post-war reconstruction of historical Gdansk [which was bombed to rubble during WWII] is one of the main attractions of the old town. There is a carnival mood and certainly the place to be for a leisurely drink and/or meal as you watch the world go by. It is extra special once the sun has gone down. Also lots of photo ops with many museums nearby.
