Who could ask for anything more? I found A La Francaise to be a delightful, small cafe perfectly suited for an afternoon lunch in the Old Town area. A friend recommended it to me the first time and I returned again on Thursday, two weeks later. French onion soup, Ham and Cheese Galil and an Espresso were done very, very well. Service was attentive without being distracting or annoying and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back with some friends tomorrow for another lunch and watching for a chance to drop in for a dinner.

“Great place!”

Gourmet food at reasonable prices with friendly owners that speak English. Nice and clean place, but nothing fancy with a focused menu. We will definitely go back.

“Brittany Polish-style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2013

Tucked away near the old town near the bridge in Spichrzowa street is this little restaurant. A very good place to go if you don't want something too heavy and especially if you like Breton cooking. The "patron" is from Brittany, his wife is Polish but speaks excellent French and the galettes and crepes are excellent. A good selection of no nonsense wines too.
