Hotel was centrally located, a short walk from the train station and right near all the tourist destnations. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Hotel has free wifi. Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and were a great assistance to us with some difficulties we were having with our train tickets.
Free breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food.
Would highly recommend this hotel t anyone staying in Gdansk

This is a small. lovely furnished in modern style hotel. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms are large. Breakfast is good.

We arrived by train and decided to go on foot from the station to the hotel, as it seemed to be quite near and not worth the expense to hire a taxi. It is near, but you shouldn't be carrying big bags or luggage, or the 10 minute walk from the station will seem like an eternity! We went to the address supplied, at Sw. Ducha Street. But reception there directed us to the newer part of the hotel, just round the corner on Kolodziejska Street, which has a second reception area. This newer part seemed to be better furnished than the one on Sw. Ducha St.

The hotel is situated just inside Srodmiescie (Main Town), and is an excellent base for exploring the lovely streets with their houses with dutch gables and the huge St. Mary's Church.

Gdansk was a nice surprise, as regards the sights. Our stay was even better because of our excellent choice of hotel at Wolne Miasto (which means Free City).

The hotel was (just) ok in all respects, clean and staff was at times unhelpful (the only restaurant they wanted to recommend was the restaurant of the hotel) but another time reliable when it was about ordering a taxi on time. However, the bathroom was too oldfashioned, the extremely noisy airconditioning turned on every time you switched on the light, it was smelly and there was no hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was overpriced and the room where it was served was not cosy at all. Next time I'd book a more modern and stylish place, of which there are some in Gdansk.

I stayed here in the winter of 2010 and found it a very good accomodation with a convenient location in the downtown.

The building is situated ideally in the town centre, I believe this is the best accomodation in Gdansk from this point of view. It was a quiet and peaceful place (in winter at least).

The room was very nice, clean and spacious enough with one double bed, a writing table, two chairs, internet connection, a big wardrobe, TV, heating, two complimentary small bottle of mineral water; and a nice and spacious bathroom with bathtub (with curtain) and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. The window offered a view to the street and the opposite houses of typical Gdansk architecture.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, the buffet breakfast is delicious and they offered a good choice. The hotel has its own restaurant that serves tasty food.
