The third time was as goog as two previous ones (2011 and 2012). Great location, just a few blocks from the main street. Many bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly, rooms clean and the breakfast was good.

Just hot back from a 4 night stay which, was very good.
The communication with the hotel before hand was very good.
I did request a room with a bath tub but on arriving late at night we were given room 310.
The room was in the attic with no bath tub but a huge shower.
The room was a good size but the only windows were in the roof so to look out you would have to stand on a chair...not very good.
We moved rooms the next day to room 202 and it had large windows and a bathroom with a huge bath.
The location is excellent.
We thought the breakfast expensive for Poland so ate out.
The one meal we did have in the hotel was very good.
All staff were very friendly.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading

This hotel has a very good location in the center of charming Gdansk. The standard of the hotel is ok, one strange thing though. The hotel has to entrances, we where sleeping in the part without restaurant, so in the morning when we wanted breakfast we had to walk around the block. Not so fun when the rain or snow i comming.

Room Tip: If you want breakfast included, make sure you get a room in the secton of the hotel with restaurant.

I stayed at this hotel from Saturday 2nd November until the Tuesday 5th November. the hotel is perfectly positioned for taking in Gdansk. The place was spotless and the staff very polite and accomodating. We stayed in a deluxe room which had an enormous bathroom (which had a very large bath in it, a sauna, a shower and a toilet. The room also had a lounge area downstairs and a very big bed upstairs. I can't recall the price we paid now but do remember that it wasn't much more than that which two friends paid for a standard room each.

Although breakfast wasn't included in the room price, we decided to eat breakfast there and pay for it seperately. On the first day we were offered scrambled eggs and bacon. This was only OK, and was an additional cost to the standard buffet breakfast. Unless you really want scrambled eggs and bacon then I would recommend just having the standard buffet breakfast, which was more than average and very filling.

The only downside was that the bedroom was too hot for us at night, despite us turning off the heating.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 001 on the lower ground floor. this is the one with the very large bath and sauna...

Just got back from a weekend break with friends. Hotel is in a superb location with all the historical buildings, museums etc practically round the corner. It's a very well maintained, clean Hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. Our room was on the small side but had a good-sized, modern bathroom.
There were a couple of minor complaints but considering we managed to book a room at less than £100 for 3 nights I was not going to say anything to staff or will bother mentioning here. This Hotel is very hard to beat at that price considering the location and would definitely be worth paying more.
ul Piwna is the best street for bars and cafes. Café Retro has a lovely, cosy atmosphere but we found coffees arrived lukewarm and cakes were mainly cheesecake or apple pie. Had a very nice oat cookie in there though! They don't do hot breakfasts. Presentation is lovely.
We preferred Pikawa which regrettably we only discovered just before we left. Great selection of coffees, teas, smoothies etc. I had a huge piece of apple pie, 3 inches high, served with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, all dusted with cinnamon for the equivalent of £2.
Swojsky Smak is worth a few minutes walk. Lovely country style interior, good quality Polish food, helpful, friendly staff.
Bar & Bistro also on ul Piwna (next to Pikawa) was brilliant for breakfasts. We found everywhere we ate and drank was cheap. The most expensive meal we had was at Fishmarkt. Nice meal but no better than other meals we had at much lower prices. There was a man in there who seemed to be the owner or manager who wasn't at all friendly. No smiles or pleasantries unlike the waitresses who, fortunately, were very good. He alone would prevent me going back (other than the bill which was as much as we'd spent on food in the whole of the previous 2 days!)
Altogether a nice place for a weekend break with lovely buildings in the Old Town. We had 3 full days there but 2 would be enough. Go while it's cheap before they join the Euro!

I cannot say enough about how good thisd hotel is. The staff are all so friendly, professional and polite. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The food is almost gourmet and surprisingly low priced for an hotel. The location just could not be better in my opinion because you are just far enough from the throb of the main drag yet close enough to take short walks or rides to anywhere in the city. It was our silver anniversary celebration and we had a party of 16 people and the hotel did everything and more to make our stay memorable. They agreed to put on an "exclusive" menu for our guests (at a reasonable price too) and laid out a large special table for us all to sit around together. It is so easy to find great food in Gdansk but please keep an eye out for the hotels special daily menu board - 1 night we had a lovely baked cod meal for the ridiculous price of £4.50p and it was the nicest fish I had ever eaten. A special mention for Natalia on reception who has been emailing and assisting me in our group holiday since it was arranged back in July - if you prefer to deal with the hotel direct or are need of advice then contact Natalia who will put you right. She even arranged a special room for me and the wife that made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved our stay in Gdansk and loved our hotel and many thanks to the staff that contributed..

Room Tip: Some guests did complain of noise coming out of a nearby nightclub early in the mornings but this ap...

This is a very good hotel - spotless, great bathroom, good bed, quiet and well located. it has everything you would want in a hotel in Gdansk. The staff were fine - some were not as enthusiastic about their jobs as the others I have met in this exceptionally friendly country - but fine. That's really the only thing that I could mention. Overall, a very good hotel.
