This hotel is amazing, lovely building in the heart of the city centre. I had a business club room which was enormous, big bathroom and cosy bedroom. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was perfect. The city centre is amazing. I would definately come back to this hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. Could not fault the hotel at all during our stay. Helpful friendly staff, great food selection for breakfast, location is fantastic and rooms are very good. I did find the bed a little uncomfortable but that's a minor grumble

Room Tip: For how much it cost room service breakfast is great if your feeling lazy.

We were passing through Gdansk in July 2010 and decided to stay in this hotel for the night but had booked it a few months in advance. Location of hotel is good, its a short walk into town. Very helpful staff. The food in the irish pub near the hotel lobby was nice but a little pricey for what we ordered. The underground car park has limited spaces and very small to manoeuvre around so be careful. Overall it's a nice hotel to stay in and have recommended it to friends.

Radisson Blue was my selection because of its location just in the middle of old town - Dlugi Targ. The hotel was such a surprise for me and my 19-year-old son: it was very modern, spacious room, full of history in the entrance and even in the entrance to the restaurant. The small gym was also a pleasant experience. Taxi from the airport was 60 zloties and back 90 zloties. But in case you want to make a cheap transportation, you can use the bus as well. Radisson Blue is in the middle of the most fascinating environment with beautiful old buildings and plenty of restaurants and cafes. In summertime it must be brilliant in there. Even in February we could enjoy it a lot.

Room Tip: The only minus point was the noise at night. After 2 nights we found out that both windows were left...

The hotel is in a good location and the room was clean, but small.
They swiped my card twice when checking in claiming the 1st swipe was declined by my bank. They ended up authorising over £440 on my visa debit card. Although this hasn't actually been taken out of my account, it has frozen the funds in my current account. The bill was fully paid when leaving when the pre-authorisations should have been removed.
However, checked out 2 weeks ago and the funds are still frozen on my account so they have frozen the access on a reasonably large chuck of my disposable cash.
I have made many expensive phone calls to the hotel in Gdansk and they have either hung up or denied any liability claiming it is the fault of my bank. My bank categorically claim that they have not received any instruction to remove the pre authorisations.
This highlights a massive issue with heir pre authorisation process - which has left me severely stressed.

Dear Guest

Thank you for choosing Radisson Blu Hotel Gdansk.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience with the payment.

Unfortunately we do not have possibilities to speed up the process of returning money to your account. After the actual charge is made the pre-authorisation should be released by the bank.

Again my apologies and I look forward to see you again so we can show you that we can do better.

Sincerely

I spent a 3 day weekend trip to Gdnask with my wife in the splendid Radisson Blu hotel. You really can say that the price is right in this hotel. Anything similar in any other european city would cost you 2 times more. The breakfast is more than enough for any kind of an appetite and the rooms are big and clean with nice bathrooms and various other services. The location of the Hotel is a few steps from the main pedestrian area so it it also superb.

Room Tip: We had the Business room. Maybe not worth to pay even for that, because the "basic" rooms...
