The Experiment Science Center is one of the newest attractions in Gdynia and this is a place with a difference. Unlike typical tourist attractions it offers not natural beauty, historical sights or culinary impression but the opportunity to see, watch and touch how the world works.
There are six exhibitions, each dedicated to different natural science form physics to biology. Each offers several interactive displays where people of all ages are able to experience how e.g the water gate works, or electricity is produced. Moreover, the center's offer include virtual tour over magnificent world of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions.
The center is open form Tuesday to Friday from 09 to 06pm and at weekends from 10 to 07pm. Single ticket costs 20 zloty, but there are discounts for students and families - look at the center's web page. You can book online, too.
Personally, I loved the visit because of three reasons I could touch the displays, learn something what I had studied at school but never understood, have great fun. That is why I highly recommend this place to all families visiting Gdynia, as well as couples, friends, singles and anyone who is curious why the life, world, human is like that not another.
