I stayed with my friend for 1 night in Lalala. i have to say that it was excellent, staff were helpful and kind. We booked 1600 room ( amazing bathroom! with big shower). We celebrated women's day and had to stay longer, late check-out is possible ( for extra charge) :) Thank you girls for lovely stay!

Room Tip: 1600 with lovely bathroom :)

This is an excelent place but only for excelent people!
During weekends they organise nice concerts, movies etc.
Food is great, design very unique and people so posiitive.
But I would not come there with my mom.
:)

Room Tip: you have to come back again and every time ask for a different room!

This place is a bit weird as you can see from the website. It is located in the middle of nowhere, its 20 mins in Sopot and 12 -15 zlotych by Taxi. When we got there the staff were cool (maybe a little too much). The room we got was room 7 which was white inside with white curtains, white everything, which, in the morning was blinding!!!
We also helped ourselves to a bottle of wine in the room advertised at 69z, it was only a lot later did I realise she charged me 84z, hhhmmmmm it was a bit crap.
Breakfast was fine, and the wifi worked well. All in all it looked really cool and I was looking forward to staying somewhere different, this place promised much but just kind of left themselves down. If you are going to stay here ask for a dark room. Also if you are eating in Sopot go to Cyrano et Roxanne, its a bit pricey but well worth it.

Room Tip: Dont get room 7 too bright!!!!

If your preference for hotel accommodation is for chains like Hilton, Best Western or Holiday Inn then Hotel Lalala is not for you. If you are not able to “go with the flow” then you are probably better off in a Travelodge. It is not so much a hotel, more like you have gone to visit a friend with a big house who happens to have a bar and good food. We were there for three nights, we had had different pasta on nights 1 and 3 with the house burger on night 2. All were excellent.

Each of the 7 rooms are designed by a different Polish artist(s). We were in room 38, designed by Honorata Martin and Ula Wasielewska. It is difficult to describe in a few words what the room was like. Where do you focus? The silver shoes, the embroidered, painted curtains, the painted stencilled floor, wall or ceilings? The room was a bit like a painting, the more you looked the more you found to look at.

The weekend we were there were two events, one a party of a large international clothing company and the next night for the launch party of a Polish Art Festival. Some of the people attending were so cool they had to keep their hoodies up when they were indoors in a very warm room. (I’m very uncool and I was in a t-shirt). I’ve never been in a hotel where the walls of the pristine white entrance area was painted into a 3-D mural. It is difficult to describe the bar, it has a huge number of different objects from small Indian elephant Gods through to a large pink illuminated deer in the garden. Where do you start? Unusually for Poland the Hotel Lalala has an impressive wine list.

This place is so cool that in a different times and in a different places you would find Dylan Thomas in the bar chatting and having a beer with Robert Burns.
