I've been to the restaurant twice so far and each time it was a rather pleasant experience. I travel for business to Gdansk a lot and it seemed to be a great challenge to find a decent place to eat (I'm vegan and my husband is pescatarian). Normally, we stay at Sofitel (former Grand), but the food experience (except breakfast) was very disappointing there. So checking out Wave turned out to be a very good choice. This time altogether we ordered mushroom soups, sautéed veggies (suggested by the waiver when he found out that I'm vegan - very nice touch, not that common in Poland), and some fish (salmon, piked perch) for my husband. The food was good, except for the soup, which was over-salted. We will definitely come back.
One comment: they put fish dishes as vegetarian - little backwards and funny, my 99 year old grandma thinks the same..... No, vegetarians do not eat fish.
