We stayed here during the Euro 2012 championships. The building is huge and sprawling and despite the hotel being busy we rarely saw other guests.
First the positives:
The location is perfect. It is right on the cyclepath/walkway overlooking the beach (Ask for a sea view room). This pathway leads you straight into Sopot main square - maybe a 10 min leisurely stroll. You are also beside a lovely restaurant for seafood (Bar Przystan) which is seemed very popular with the locals for lunch. The beach is on your doorstep so we also ate and drank at various beach bars up and down the coastline. We also rented bikes (nearby) and cycled around the area which was a nice way to spend an afternoon.
The room was small but adequate for us. 2 single beds, 2 chairs and a desk, a TV with loads of channels (none English speaking), lots of storage space and a balcony overlooking the beach and pathway. Bathroom was clean and never wanting for hot water etc.
Reception is open 24 hours and we found the 3 or 4 different receptionists all very helpful and polite.
The room had no real curtains so it was very bright at 6/7am when all you wanted to do was sleep.
There was no free wifi for guests which most places in the vicinity offered. There was however a stand alone PC near reception for guests to use.More
