We stayed at the Aristo last weekend while attending a family wedding there, I didn't have the chance to have a look on tripadvisor before we left' so our group were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived to say the least, The Hotel is really quite Stunning, It has a fantastic location right in the middle of Bialystok, with some rooms overlooking the Palace, The Restaurant is really very nice, as is the Basement Bar,

Between our group we had five rooms' all of which were stunningly decorated with really nice touches, such as large painted murals on the walls or above the headboards, lots of granite & marble in the bathrooms, This hotel would not have been out of place in Paris or Rome,

We dined in the Restaurant on two occasions and very much enjoyed the food, as well as the breakfast, my only minor complaint was the lighting in the restaurant of an evening, I thought it was a bit bright, and lacked a nice evening ambiance, but it was hardly a big deal in the scheme of things,

The Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and made our stay at the Aristo a very enjoyable Experience indeed,,,,

Good hotel with polite staff. Really good location. With hotel there is also restaurant and pub. Front door is tricky to find. Free parking during the weekend in front of the hotel. No secure parking. For the bikers there is nothing extra, no drying places ect.

There were only one small room available and the bed was next to radiator, so hot dreams they were.

Worth of stay!

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms are tricky for the tall persons cause shape of the roof.

right on the money for a short stay.

Room is good, modern & design - price is great (70e), location is perfect for a short walk through the city center as it's 100m from the main square. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately didn't have time for breakfast.

Only real negative: they need to get rid of the horrible oil/perfume that they use in the hallways...it smells like the perfume of a lady you would meet in a gentleman's club :-(

We loved the hotel and everything about it. It is an excellent boutique hotel in the centre of Bialystok, right next to the Branicki Palace. I asked for a speciality bread while checking in and within 5 mins the reception rang with the information. We found the service throughout the hotel exceptionally good.

At breakfast the waitress pointed out my rye bread without being asked. Also, I brought my own organic eggs and the chef was very happy to cook them for me any way I asked. My husband asked for his pancakes cooked to order, and again they arrived in no time at all. The breakfast was served in the restaurant which was never very busy. We did stay mid week, though.

If you stay in the room with the train (36), you will have access to a huge terrace, which is described as private. In fact, it is shared with the room next door and there are no dividers on the terrace, so you could find people right outside your window. Luckily, it was unoccupied throughout our stay. The room itself was very big and absolutely lovely. The bathroom was modern, with a huge walk-in shower. Good beds with quality bed linen. Although the wardrobe itself is quite big, there are not many drawers or shelves in the room. You get free bottled water, and there are tea and coffee facilities. Free wi-fi in the room.

WARNING - do not park across the road from the hotel, in front of the prosecutor's office on week days at any time. The signs are confusing if you don't read Polish. We narrowly avoided having our hire car towed because of the quick actions of the reception staff.

We can highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Bialystok, which is a very charming town.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The house was built in 1897 by Abram Jossem, a known dentist from Bialystok. It hosted many famous residents, mostly the elite residents of Bialystok. Back in time, several institutions were located here: St. Petersburg Agency - Toulouse Land Bank - the main investor of the "Ritz" Hotel, the Szejnman pawnshop, an institution producing stamps, the Solomon Ginzburg request office, the "Life of Bialystok" editorial office, and many others. Beautiful but unfortunately very damaged building, which was entered in the register of historical monuments, required renovation. The modernization of the building, which was possible through the capital of the investors and the EU subsidies, started in 2009, although, the original facade of the building was preserved. The main idea of the whole undertaking was to create a boutique hotel in the heart of Białystok ... more   less
