nice hotel, i liked the room, clean and quite. good for resting.

also th internet had a nice connection.
the restourant in the hotel is not very good...i spent a lot with a collegue and ate quite bad.....mostly frozen things.
honestly the price of the room was not so low, around 260zl plus the parking, but i iked the breakfast.....even if to order an espresso was a tragedy and too 3 waitress to make in and 8 minuts waiting......

The hotel is by the road A4. Hotel itself is nice, clean and friendly. Breakfast is typical for a 3* hotel. Good location for visitors with car/bus, enough parking space, city centre is about 20min walk. The rooms facing highway may be quite noisy and the rooms on 5th floor, just under the breakfast kitchen are very noisy from early hours. Complimentary WIFI connection in the rooms is very comfortable specially for business travellers.

Room Tip: Prefer room facing forest and lower than 5th floor.

Stayed at this hotel in late October. Intitial thought was that it was OK, Receptionis friendly and no problems checking in. Room was OK, but as was said in previous review, cheap toiletries. Only a single cup for coffee, and only the makings for one cup of coffee and tea, but if you liked milk and sugar in both best choose which one! Went out for a short while, on return went the restaurant on the top floor, again as previously reviewed, nice view of the motorway! Meal in itself I suppose was OK, but certainly nothing to write home about. I think they tried to hard to make it look good and different (Master Cook style), but unfortunately it didn't work. Went down to our room, extra cup for tea/coffee provided, but still only enought milk and sugar for your choice of drink. It was a little chilly so tried adjusting the heating. Didn't work! Called reception, they sent up the handyman who poked and prodded the control, said it should work, and if the room didn't start warming up in five minutes to call again. Didn't work, again contacted reception. Handyman came back, changed the control head and again, wait for five minutes call again. Didn't work, called reception who said they would change our room. waited a further fifteen minutes, nothing. Tried calling reception, did not answer. Finally went down to reception to find out what was happening. Was told the handyman would bring up a portable heater, no room change! Heater did arrive within five minutes.

All in all, most disappointing. So the word of warning is, don't be misled by the friendlyness of the staff, it's their job to be nice.

Beware, as the Hotel Diament Park is in another, awful location than its sister hotel in town.

Although the staff are very hospitable and charming, the hotel itself has all the charm of a soviet bus station.

Reinforced concrete greets you at reception, there are no baths except in the suites, and there is no mini bar.

There is nothing but a main road and industrial landscape to look at from the 6th floor restaurant, so they have wisely screened it off. It serves over fussy, frozen and packet foods. (Flavours like blue cheese, rhubarb and strawberries thrown together?!

Breakfast buffets always suffer from being left out for hours and this was no exception. Coffee in a big urn was awful. Lovely polish dark bread and sourdough bread was the only good feature.

You cannot walk anywhere from here, its nowhere near anything interesting, just that busy main road outside, so you have to take expensive taxis.

It was, however, very clean, but the towels and toiletries were cheap and nasty.

In a word - GRIM!
