Room : Standard double
Great location, 1 min walk to trains (remarkably you don't hear them), 10 mins to Wawel Castle , 15 mins to Old Town. All amenities just outside the door.

Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful and speak well in English.. We checked out and left our baggage all day before boarding a night train with no issues... Nothing was too much trouble.

Room was well kept and clean, the only thing keeping the room score down was the mattress itself. Jug and mugs/plates provided but no tea/coffee or fridge in room. We stayed on the first floor and we were in the black hole for WiFi coverage .. Although its fast when connected.

Attached restaurant provided excellent breakfast spread included in room price (value considering there aren't many breakfast options outside the hotels/hostels) .. Dinner menu is cheap but basic.

Overall this is a great spot .... Glad to have stayed here and happy to recommend to anyone

We spent four nights in this hotel in May 2013 and we loved our stay very much. Food was good, the staff was great and very helpful - thank you for the tips about the Zapiekanka and all the general information about Krakow and the tours around.

Room Tip: Our room had a bathtub, it might not be a good choice for all the travellers. However I do not know if all the rooms have bathtubs or some have just a shower. Either the Wi-Fi was out occasionally or the problem was with my phone - didnt bother to find out because we were too busy exploring Krakow.

First, TRAM LINE 13 is the best way to get to this small hotel. It is only about 200 meters from the Stradom stop (or that is as close as I can recall). NO ELEVATOR, so be warned.

The reception staff is excellent and English is fully understood. Our room is well maintained and shows recent refurbishing. There is ONLY a tub with spray handle, so a shower can leave water around the bathroom. There is BBC news and Eurosport (in German) on a 15" color TV.

The buffet breakfast, included in the basic room rate, was a pleasant experience with unlimited coffee, OJ, scrambled eggs and cooked sausages in addition to cheese, cold cuts, and cereals and bread.

Better than basic, and excellent value for money.

Brilliant place run by the same family for 16 years, clean and tidy with a great breakfast, nothing was too much for the friendly helpful staff, our friends who stayed with us had a problem with the shower handle (It snapped off) it was fixed very quickly. The location could not be better; in the old town with more bars than you can shake a stick at, loads of eating places. The Oriental restaurant next door was really nice and very cheap. We did arrive late, 2330 hrs due to a 3 hr flight delay but they still waited up for us. When we felt they held our luggage until the evening. All in all a superb place, yes a few steps to negotiate; having talked to the owner he plans to fit a lift in the near future. I would use it again no problem. Thank you Tournet staff, you did a great job.

Room Tip: If you are not good with steps the lower floor would help.

This is a very nice hotel. And at that price it's a bargin. Such nice friendly and helpful staff - they are worth an extra star.
Excellent location near the Stradom tram station but you can also choose to walk as it takes only 10-15 minutes to reach any just about sight worth seeing by foot.
Free and well functioning Wi-Fi both in our room and in the reception/breakfast area. TV has mostly Polish channels but also english-languaged news channels. The included hotel breakfast is good. And for lunch and dinners there are lots very good restaurants, bars and cafés in the neighborhood.
If I would change one thing it would be the very soft mattress. But... I would stay here again if I go back to Krakow.
Tip: Don't forget to pick up the free guide "Krakow In your pocket" which is way better than most "real" guidebooks.
