“Traveling by car? Ideally suited!”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

Excellent hotel. The only minus – as much as 7 km from the Centrum. So your choice is to pay additional ≈50 € for the same level of comfort somewhere around the Rynek Glowny or to get by taxi/tram (5.0/0.5 €) from “Dwór Kościuszko” to the exact point in the Old city you wish. Believe me, the second is much more convenient.
Moreover, if you come by car, its location near the E77 motorway even gives an advantage. You can leave your car at their free and guarded parking lot and thus avoid both the constant heavy traffic inside Planty circle and sizable parking fee at all central hotels.
No need to recite the services and amenities of “Dwór Kościuszko”, they meet all the requirements of a luxury boutique hotel. But there is something special in the atmosphere of this particular place: genuine friendliness of the staff. Together with the historic interiors of rather small mansion (24 rooms), their sincere, not phony hospitality creates an exquisite sense of coziness.
Even the wedding reception - the true bane of such places – did not spoil our impression. One evening the receptionist knocked on the door with a bottle of wine in her hand to apologize “for the possible inconvenience” whereas their restaurant faces the reverse façade of the building! And it makes you feel the care and emphasizes the perfect management.
We would strongly recommend this hotel!

This is a small quiet hotel on the north side of Krakow, short distance into the city. It is next to a main road but I did not hear any noise from the room I was in. Rooms are nice, the service is very good. Whenever, I needed to travel anywhere I would always get good recommendations from the staff and they would assist with my travel arrangements.

Breakfast was included with the room, a very good selection. I also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also very good.

I stayed for two weeks due to a workshop.

I asked a lot of favours and I also had a lot of questions. The simplistic conclusion: in this hotel you find service all around!
No matter if you need help with the tram, the bus, tickets, times, etc. or some requests concerning the room or a lunch package or even a late check-out - nothing seemed to be laborious or annoying! And I have to say that by now this is nothing you could take for granted!

I recommend this hotel to everybody who plans to visit Krakow! My stay was very comfortable, the whole staff was amazingly cordial - just loved it! :-)

Enjoy your stay!

This is a very quite small Hotel 24 rooms, it is an old palace converted.

The room 103 deluxe was quirky but great, very clean and spacious, the bathroom is spacious and with a big shower enclosure. Very clean and a turn down service.

Food: Breakfast excellent simple but more continental only cooked things are bacon, sausage and fried eggs, anything else just ask.
Dinner started with wine in the lounge then taken down to the restuarant for excellent tenderloin cooked to my request and pike-perch with shrimp mousse read (sauce), we had dinner here another night and the sorbet is intense and flavoursome. We had good meals everywhere in Krakow, beware portions are large or just plain huge.

We were here four days during the week was very quite and looked like more business patrons as it is a bit outside of the center of town there is a tram terminus near by and for 2.5PLN single will take you anywhere we used the 19 that takes you along the entire side of the old town, jewish quarter and Wewal castle, huge shopping mall next to the 5-6 stop.

The staff where excellent and very helpful from chambermaid to reception.

We would stay here again and would recommend this to our friends, only thing we had to take a taxi back each evening 25PLN after eating out.

Very quite and restful I liked it.
Loved the polish people helpful and friendly.

We booked the hotel through a 3rd party website. It appeared to be the best deal in town (for the quality it offers). It's a 5* property, although not sure if this is an official rating, as there are certain things missing. Anyhow, we were by car, so on purpose we selected a hotel were we wouldn't have to worry about parking (you will get charged > 20eur/day for parking in the city centre hotels - here you get a secured parking for free). But if you don't have your own mode of transport, I wouldn't recommend staying there.

We arrived on Saturday and we hit a wedding party in the hotel. You could hear noise at night but nothing that would really bother you.

Rooms are quite specious, good design, flat screen TV, bathroom of a decent size - all spotless clean.

On corridors you will find computers with an internet access.

One of the best breakfast I've ever head - very impressed. Massive selection of meats, cheeses, cold / hot meals, fantastic breads ...

The restaurant offers a good selection of Polish cuisine. Very small portions though. Customer service fantastic!

Would surely suggest the hotel to older couples who are coming to town by car, or those who don't mind using taxis. Then the value for money is really good.

We stayed at hotel Kosciuszko for three nights in june 2010. It was the start of a three weeks long trip trought sentral Europe. The hotel certainly has it`s own charm and personality and it is decorated in old Vienna style. The rooms has a personal toutch as each room is dedicated to a famous person. Plus for robes in the rooms and an excelent breakfast with a different twist every day. Internet acess is free and the staff are very helpfull and polite.

The location is a bit outside the sentral city, but it is no problem to take the tram and then walk the 10 minutes it takes to the hotel. The hotel also has it`s own shuttle bus that can transport you in to the town. However this only leaves twice a day. The hotel staff was helpfull to arrange tours to Auchwitz and other tourist attractions.

Well spent money if you choose to stay here.

We chose this hotel because it is only a short tram ride out of town but it is 5 stars and costs barely more than a Travel Lodge type hotel in the UK.

The rooms were excellent, decent size, well decorated and with full facilities. The en-suite was very large with his and hers basins and a large walk-in shower. soaps, creams, etc etc refreshed daily.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and courteous and all spoke very good English.

The taxi driver serves this hotel and a number of others and he, too, was friendly and provided ecellent service.

The hotel restaurant seems to be attractive to people not staying at the hotel and I would put it on a par to a Michelin starred type establishment in the UK.

The restuarant is medium size with tables catering for about 40 or 50 diners at a time.

We ate in the restaurnat on our first night and it was so good, we ate there every night of our stay.

The food was excellent and provided a good range of options - we tried 5 mains between us and each one was superb. Two courses each plus a bottle of wine and additional beers/drinks etc and all for about £32. Hotel residents also benefit from a 10% discount on the normal restaurant prices.

The tram terminus is a leisurely 10 minute stroll from the hotel and it takes about 10 minutes to get into Old Town Square. All for Zlotys 2.50 (eq £0.55 pence) one way.

It's greta place to stay because you can access all the sights etc of the Old Town very easily yet the hotel is in a quiet location.
