“Good value, very noisy”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 via mobile

Great location, great value, nice breakfast, comfy beds. The only, but very important, downside is that there are trams outside which are very noisy 24hr a day. Ear plugs a mugs and still loud with them. If you can sleep through anything this is a fab hotel, but light sleepers beware!!!

Very nice hotel with a perfect location close to The Old Town and The Jewish Quarters. Outside our windows we had a perfect view of the trams that drove by and made the house shake a bit:-)Very charming- but remember to bring earplugs. The hotel room was spacious and clean. Bathroom clean and very functionel. After a hard day out it was nice to be able to make your own tea and coffee. All members of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. It always puzzles me that people expect so much from breakfast since I'm sure they eat the same every day at home. There were 4 different kinds of bread, cheese, sausages, meat, 4 different kinds of jam, youghurt, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, eggs, cakes, fruits....and I'm sure I forgot to mention something.... The young girls serving breakfast were all extremely nice and polite. The surroundings were cosy and warm with nice quiet music every morning. Thumbs up:-)

Room Tip: Remember to bring earplugs and high spirits

A simple unpretentious hotel with helpful staff. The breakfasts were really good with fresh bread and fruit and a large selection of meats, jams and cereals. One should note that there in no lift and this could prove difficult for the more elderly guest.1 niggle would be the dirty carpet in room 304.

its not the biggest hotel in the world but it definately is the most friendly. the staff cant do enough for you and want to make sure you get to where you are going. the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the main square. there are some lovely wee shops and bakeries just around the corner. the rooms are comfortable and clean.

For a weekend in Krakow this hotel has a perfect location with just 5 minuts walk to both the old town and the jewish quarter. If possible ask for a room facing the back yard. The front is a traffic hub and is quite noicy.

Great hotel with its excellent location to the market square and shops.
The room was very clean and great access to Wifi. The customer service was excellent and arranged all our day trips out to the Salt Mines and Auschwitz Birkenau.
Only critique was the carpets need replacing in room 101 as they are a little marked. This however is no replication on the cleanliness of the rooms, they are very clean.

Great stay and wonderful hotel.

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The first thing I must say is that the staff at all times were very pleasent and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were very comfltable. When we first arrived at the hotel I thought I had made a grave mistake as the hotel is sighted at a very busy intersection of area and I have difficulty in getting to sleep at the best of times, but not to worry, although the rooms were very noisy when the windows were opened, at night when they were closed it was very peaceful and quiet.
This is an ideal position for touring the area, A 20 minute walk to the city centre square which is filled with architecture restaraunts and people in abundance plus a few pubs; Or 10 minutes in the other direction towards the jewish area, a lot of hostels, small restaraunts, bars and a slightly younger persons feel about the place ( loved this section of the city for chilling out ) . Breakfest at the hotel is a selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese, hotdogs etc and all very tasty. I would recomend this hotel to anybody.

Room Tip: We stayed at the front of the hotel ( Room 204 ) which was very noisy with the windows open ( but qu...
