This is a great apartment and location! All the photos represented the apartment perfectly. It was beautiful and very clean. Kitchen was very functional and we were there 10 days so we cooked many nights. The lay-out of the apartment was great for 2 couples traveling together. The owner arranged for our pick-up at the airport and even drove us to the train station himself upon departure from Krakow. Convenient to the square in Krakow which is the most amazing place with wonderful pubs and restaurants. Lovely city to walk around in and this location made it so easy! Highly recommend!

Stayed in this Apartment as a group of 5 going to the Christmas market. Location is brilliant, 5 minutes to Castle, 5 minutes to Market square and about 10 minutes to the large shopping mall which is certainly worth a visit! Hosts were fantastic, organised airport pickup and drop off as well as restaurant reservations for the first night. They have pretty much thought of everything in the Apt, tea, coffee, ice in freezer etc etc even including extra travel plugs, hairdryers, and scales for your case! Firelighters and logs are left for you and I would certainly recommend lighting the fire as it gives the whole apartment a lovely warm glow.

If you are planning to go at this time of year take thermals and plenty of layers as it gets very very cold as the sun starts to go down. There is a 24 hour shop about 2 mins away selling all basic provisions, bread, milk, eggs, orange juice and a large bottle of water came to less than £2! We ate in Pod Baranam on the first night, a top class restaurant about 7/8 minutes walk away, a little pricey by Krakow standards but the food was top class, would recommend the mushroom soup in bread bowl and venison or wild boar in forest sauce.

We were there for the start of the Christmas market which I felt lacked a little atmosphere as no Christmas Music was played and the Christmas lights although up in the surrounding streets were not switched on by end of November. Perhaps going a little later in December would be better for festive spirit. That said, sipping hot wine or hot chocolate while sitting outside beside a heater with a blanket over your knees is pretty nice and a lovely start to the festive period.

I would recommend anyone considering a break in Krakow to consider this apartment rather than a hotel, its great value, great location and freedom to either cook or eat out are hard to beat!

Apt Sara is a wonderful apartment just a 10 minute walk from Market Square with grocery stores, a pharmacy and restaurants even closer. The owner was very helpful during the rental process and made arrangements for airport pick-up and arranged a driver for a trip to Auschwitz. The apartment itself is very spacious and the furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The apartment set up would be perfect for two couples as the bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the living room. The best thing about the apartment was the showers, great water pressure and lots of hot water. The apartment was clean and obviously well cared for. If we return to Krakow we will definitely return to Apt Sara.

Highly recommend this large, bright and clean apartment in Krakow - the best value for money in the city! It's located in a fantastic area just outside the old town. With 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen there is plenty of space for everyone (we were 5). There are 24h stores nearby so you can stock up at any time. Hosts were delightful to deal with, very welcoming and provided plenty of information to make our stay complete.

We are frequent 60+ year old travelers. At our age, we often forget past trips, but the trip to Krakow and our stay in this wonderful apartment will not be forgotten. We stayed in this apartment for an entire month. The location of the apartment allows you to easily walk to the Kaz , to the main Krakow square, and for you upscale shoppers, the Krakow Mall The bars and restaurants in the Kaz and old town are excellent, fun, and plentiful. (In a month, eating out every night, we did not visit all of them!) The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, two nice bath rooms (we used both), a well equipped kitchen and a second bedroom. The apartment is on the second level in a large building on a very quiet street.

But now for the best part. The hosts are Vitek (an engineer who aspires to become a vodka distiller) and his wife Grazyna who can party like there is no tomorrow. Get to know them, as they are ALOT of fun to be with. Additionally, Vitek has his own list of favorite restaurants, and almost without exception, you should try each of them. (One is a hot dog stand that opens at 11pm and closes around 4am.)

We will never forget the fun we had in Krakow and especially these two gracious and wonderful hosts. You will not be disappointed.
