We only stayed for one night but were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, the quality of our room and the excellent breakfast. The hotel is easy to find and a simple 20 minute walk to the centre of Krakow. An excellent base if you are driving.

I stayed at the HGI from June 26-July 1 of this year and had a lovely experience. The staff were extremely helpful and they all spoke English very well (which was helpful for us, since our Polish was not great). The beds had comfort level adjustments and were very comfortable. It would have been nice to have two queens, but this particular hotel only offers rooms with one queen or two twins. Fortunately we discovered on arrival that the twin beds are closer to full size!

The refrigerator was convenient for holding our restaurant leftovers and bottles of water - and there is a microwave room on the main floor to heat or reheat any food. We definitely enjoyed our delicious breakfast on the main level each morning!

We did not once use a taxi during our visit - I found that walking from the hotel to Main Market Square and Wawel Castle (about 20 minutes, turn west from the hotel and cross the river then head up Grodzka Street)) or to the Jewish Quarter (also about 20 minutes in the other direction, turn right from the hotel and cross the river on the pedestrian bridge) was very easy along the river.

Overall very pleased with our stay. I hope to stay here again with another visit to such a beautiful city!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Wawel Castle/the Wisla river when booking.

We stayed with our friends and family at the Hilton Garden Inn for our wedding in June this year. A slow start turned into a wonderful stay the reception staff taking their time to look after our may needs and demands over our wedding weekend.

The rooms were great, modern and comfy beds, great bathrooms and work stations with plenty of space - great business hotel product.

The restaurant service needs improving, not sharp or attentive enough, waiting 10 minutes for service in the lobby Bharat 7pm on a Saturday because there were no staff is not good.

However a very enjoyable stay and a great value, highly recommended for any stay in Krakow, with the centre only a 5 minute taxi ride away!

Excellent service, very friendly staff, lovely clean rooms, excellent facilities (especially the little shop by reception & the microwave room), food was good at dinner and breakfast. Only negative was that it was a good 10-15 minute walk from the centre, which wasn't great being as it rained a lot!

Stayed for five nights in the Hilton Garden Inn on a trip with my wife to Krakow.
The hotel is slightly out of the city centre but in easy walking distance along the side of the river.
The hotel is very modern and up to the standards you expect from the Hilton group.
The staff on the front desk were fantastic and very good at explaining the things to do and places of interest in Krakow. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.
Our room was of a good size and very clean. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel.
The bar area is also well worth a visit and the prices in the bar very reasonable. We only had breakfast in the hotel on our last morning which again was reasonable and adequate however with so many great places to eat in Krakow we were pleased we chose not to eat in the hotel, although I'm sure the meals would have been to a high standard.
Overall this hotel was perfect for us although, if you are not keen on walking too far this may not be for everyone. Personally I can't fault this hotel and would certainly stay here again.

Great staff. Very strong value. Reasonable walking distance to most restaurants during good weather. Bikes available for touring. Comfortable rooms w/ refrigerators. Close to river, parks and Wawel castle. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Modern furnishing, a bit Aloft-esqe but not quite as trendy.
