I was a tour leader of a group of seniors travelling in Poland for 10 days. All that time they were staying in Miodosytnia. The place turned out to be perfect for them! Most of them were living on a ground floor, which was perfect, because some of them had some difficulties with climbing the stairs. There was no problem with storing the wheelchairs (we had two). The staff was friendly. The breakfast were great and there was a possibility of preparing a sandwich for a lunch. Free wi-fi and a conference room available (equiped in everything you may need to organise a movie night) makes this place great for groups.

This place met my criteria as a solo traveler on a moderate budget: pretty cheap, in a good location, no shared bathroom, and free wi-fi. Breakfast included is a nice bonus.

The other pros: It's very quiet! Very. It's in a cool area, near some fun bars, restaurants, and the river, but it's about a 15 minute was to Old Town. Not a big deal, but something to note. The room I had was small but was totally adequate for the money.

A con - no a/c (at least not in my room), so I wouldn't stay here in hot weather. My first day here was very warm and the room was uncomfortable for sleeping. Thankfully, the next two days were cooler so it was fine. Also, the shower water only ever got to lukewarm, not hot.

Dear Mr Jaimekurtz,

Thank you very much for your opinion. We are glad that our hotel met your expectations. Of course, we have taken under consideration all information you have written about and on hot days we provide our Guests with windmills. We have also installed blackout blinds which help also on hot days. We hope you will visit us again in the future.

With best regards

I stayed here as part of an international group of women doing a course, and it was a lovely place to stay. The architect owner had lovingly converted the old building into a delightful small hotel, including rooms which could be used by our group. The bedrooms were functional but perfectly adequate, with small bathrooms with very good showers. The only complaint I had was that as I was in one of the upstairs rooms, these had been fitted with Velux-type windows into the roof slope and these did not have blinds, hence I was woken by the light at around 5am each morning.
The service from friendly young women was a bit scatty - they frequently forgot essential breakfast items - but they were generally very helpful and their friendly approach made up for the mistakes.
The hotel is situated in Kazimieriz, the Jewish quarter of Krakow and there are many hotels, bars etc. very near and it's not too far to walk to the Old Town.
I'd certainly consider staying here if I visit Krakow again for a short holiday.
