The hotel was in a fantastic location just a short, short walk from the market square. It was clean and the staff were very helpful! The breakfast was basic, but a bonus. We loved the decor and were very comfortable in our triple room.

The whisky bar had a band one night of our stay and it was an amazing atmosphere.

Thank you.

We stayed for 4 nights in November and what a gem! Lovely old hotel in keeping with the city atmosphere. Very clean, very large room and very friendly staff. 2 minute walk to main square and about 10 minutes to the old Jewish quarter and on a pedestrian only street. We arranged trips to Auschwich and Salt Mines and although slightly more expensive than other tours, it was very convenient being picked up outside the hotel and staff were extremely helpful.
Breakfast was OK and what I expected.
Would recommend free walking tours.com - we did this on our last day and it would have been better to do this on arrival to get our bearings. Our guide was excellent.
Would also recommend doing any day tours early as we were picked up at 11.00 am, and when we returned to the city (although only 4pm) it was dark and we couldn't go sightseeing.
Would definitely to back to Krakow and stay at this hotel.

We recently stayed at the Camea 1oth November for 5 nights. I knew it was going to be good as i contacted the hotel prior to arrival to arrange airport transfers and Aushwitz and salt mine tours. They did all this within minutes of me e mailng them !! How good is that. On arrival we were met by a very lovely receptionist called Margenna (wrong spelling) who ensured a quick check in. She showed us 2 ours rooms on the 1st floor rooms 1 and 4. Room 1 was huge and very comfrtable room 4 was smaller but still very nive overlooking the pedestrianised street. I had also told them it was our friends Golden wedding and she said they would arrange something for their special day which was the 14th November. Rooms lovely and warm plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fine cold meats cheese toast cereal and drinks. The hotel is in a fabulous position 3 minute walk from the beautiful town square. It was so good we going back on the 26th January 2014 for 3 nights after we have had 4 nights in Zakopane. On the day of our friends golden wedding was was waiting when returned from being out ? A bottle of champagne and a card and a lovely box of chocolates ?? How lovely is that ?? So kind and very well received. That is how nice the hotel is. Many thanks to all the staff and look forward to seeing you on the 26th Jan.
KInds Regards
Phil Smith

Located in the center of the old town, few minutes away from the main market square and the nightlife area, this hotel is very good value for money.

Camea is a small hotel, with rooms that are huge when compared with other hotels in Europe. High connection wi-fi is offered free of charge in the hotel rooms. Rooms were clean, with an average size bathroom.

On the low side, decor is a bit tiring and beds are not so comfortable, but nothing to put you off from staying here.

Breakfast was average, reception staff was helpful.

I recommend this hotel for a stay in Krakow and will not bother staying again.

This was a great place to stay right in the middle of Krakow on Grodzka, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square. We had a family room with 2x single beds and a sofa bed. The room was bigger than expected and was spotlessly clean. A good bathroom with plenty of clean towels. TV (Polish channels only) and free wifi in the room. Windows overlooking the pedestrianized street below. Continental breakfast was taken in the cellar. Via internet from the uk and when we arrived we found the staff very helpful. We booked trips to the salt mine and Auschwitz using the on site travel agency and both were excellent.
