Stayed here last month.
Very modern and clean.
Great braekfsats and evening meals.
Close to tram link to city centre..turn left and walk to trams.. No 1 4 stops if I remember and you are there.
Very close to big shopping centre..great prices and names.
Great value for the price.
Would stay here again.

We really liked this hotel. Galaxy's front desk staff and concierge were very friendly, helpful, and informative. There is ample on-site parking. Quick walk to the tram and only about four stops to get to the heart of Krakow (cheap and easy!). Excellent breakfast included in our room rate. The room was very comfortable and clean. Great shower. Free WiFi. We all agreed this is the hotel we'd return to on any future visit to this amazing city.

When planning my stay in Krakow i went on a recommendation of a friend of the families and I'm very happy i did. I defiantly recommend this hotel for anyone and for all ages. Within a 30 second walk there is a great shopping center with a food court with a great American diner and the prices are great. Plus for all the beauty girls out there there is a sephora and a fantastic pharmacy with great makeup and skin care brands and fab prices. Our hotel room was a fantastic size and great amenities. Buffet breakfast was included in the price which was yummy and not a complaint here. Its about 10 -15 min walk into the square with great shops. Trust me we shopped till we dropped lol When is came to sight seeing our number one on our list was Auschwitz. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpfully and and gave us different options to how to get there. Oskar Schindler factory is across the road from the hotel takes no more than 10 mins to get too.
When thinking of which hotel to stay in Krakow choose this one you wont be sorry

Visited Krakow to see the Christmas markets and although this hotel is out of town, it is very easy to walk to the tram stop and jump on. It's about a 5 stop journey and pretty straightforward.
The hotel was clean and quite contemporary. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was great, the staff on reception very friendly.
I really couldn't fault it.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Krakow. It was perfect! The rooms were clean with all the amenities you would expect. The buffet breakfast has a large assortment of hot and cold foods. The dinner menu has a chef specialty of Pierogi filled with meat, you must try!!! The staff was so nice to us and very helpful. If you forgot to bring any items, there is an indoor shopping mall with a food court around the corner from the hotel. My favorite it the WOW ON and OFF tourist bus that stops in front of the hotel. The on and off bus enables you to see all the major sites in Krakow for a very reasonable price. The ticket can be purchased at the Front Desk. If I lived in Europe I would take a trip to Krakow often and stay at the Galaxy Hotel.

Room Tip: Choose room that faces the river

First trip to Poland and I was expecting drab and dreary in this country that has suffered much oppression over the years, but not so! Hotel Galaxy was a wonderful find by my partner. Colourful and contemporary, clean and welcoming. Whilst checking in, a huge porter took our cases to the lift and then took the cases and us to our rooms. He showed us how to operate the air conditioning, tv, music in the bathroom etc and did not wait around for a tip! Rooms were very spacious, bathroom huge with all toiletries supplied (best hand and shower gel I have ever seen). Tea, Coffee in room and mini bar/fridge upon request. Lift was strange, it had bird sounds overhead, and you needed your room key in order to access different floors. Food in the restaurant was excellent (try the house special brown rolls with cranberry and walnuts! Superb!) Breakfast was plentiful, but dont expect too much of an English breakfast, but staff are willing to assist you with anything you ask for (even saw a spanish man trying to communicate he wanted a mushroom omlette for breakfast and they gladly obliged once they new what he wanted :-) Most hotel staff speak good English and are happy to help you learn some Polish. This hotel is quite away from the Old Town Main Square where all the restaurants and night life exist, but Jordan group have this sussed... they have provided a Hoppa Bus - a red mini bus that acts as a guided tour which runs every half an hour and will take you past the newly built Galleria (shopping mall) through the Jewish Quarter, around the Main Square, past the viewing platform air baloon, the Getto Hero's square, Schindlers factory, and much more and you can hop on and hop off wherever and whenever you like (only problem is it is one way round, so you can sit on the bus for half and hour if the stop you want to get off at is at the end of the journey) and the last bus is around 5.30 p.m. so you have to get a taxi into the Main Square of an evening but usually this is around £3.00 - £4.00 each way. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and we will definately be coming back to the Galaxy and Krakow again. Thank you to all staff for an enjoyable, memorable stay.*****

Room Tip: Rooms at back are quiet but dont have a good view. Front rooms will have a view but if near to the...

Want a blend of contrast to your stay in Krakow?

The Galaxy Hotel will provide this experience as it is a trip into the modern world in a city rich of history. You immediatley know your not staying in a "histroic" building as the colors and decor of this hotel scream "Contemporary".

From the steel and grey metal colors blending with the orange and colorful array of purples whites, and greys, vibrant bedding covers, I have to agree with the promotional words which read .... "Positive Vibes"

The hotel is fairy busy, but the reception staff always make time to answer our questions and help us with directions.

The rooms are comfortable and offer some "high tech" experiences which includes the sounds of birds (nature) in the barhroom at your command.

The hotel is situated a bit away from the downtown square ( 20 minute walk) but it is the number 1 stop on the " hop on - hop off transit system which makes touring the major sights very easy. There are also many resturants available within a 10 minute walk.

The hotel is located beside the Vistula River with nice paths beside it, so make sure to take some time to walk.

The hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast which offers seemingy endless choice of fruits, pastry, juices , coffee and Polish flair including sausage and eggs.

You can arrange for the most popular tours from this hotel which include the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour and the Salt Mine tour. For those wanting to see both in one day, we recommend hiring a private driver through the hotel to pick you up at 8 am. For the cost of 600 PLN (Zloty) This cost is for a total of 4 people so it can be shared, We want to thank our driver Jakub who informative and professional.

In conclusion , we would definatley come back to this hotel if we ever stay in Krakow and recomend it to other travellers.

Thankyou staff of the Hotel Galaxy!!
