I spent 6 months in krakow and this is where I chose to go almost every day in my last few weeks there. It has the prices of a "milk bar" (the cheapest polish food you can get) but the atmosphere and quality of a nice restaurant. We took guests here above many other good Polish resturants. There is nothing on the menu over 14pln. Soup is 5pln. Best value is breakfast - good selection and everything is 8pln INCLUDING coffee/tea/latte/cappuchino. Since you normally pay 8pln or more just for the latte, this is truly a bargain. They had my favorite golumbki of all he places I tried. High ceilings, very light. Decorated in new white ikea furniture with friendly red and green accents. Truly a great place for good quality inexpensive polish food. And the service is also very good - something that is quite rare in Poland. it is located very close to old town, just on the other side of the street from the Planty (park ring around the city).
