“Lunchtime Special”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

We came by this restaurant cycling through the Jewish Quarter. I had the beetroot soup with the dumpinigs (my first taste of beetroot soup). I expected it to be a thick soup but it is clear and very tasty. My husband ordered the lunchtime deal for 15 zloty, a soup followed by a pork goulash served on fried potato cakes (pancakes), an excellent deal. We were glad we stopped here for lunch.

“AMAZING”
Reviewed 4 September 2012

This was one of the best places we ate in Krakow; better Polish food than what my family makes! It was right around the corner from our hotel. We ate here two days in a row for lunch. The owner is fantastic and gave us great suggestions each time. Must try the beet soup. We had it two ways, first was just a broth that you drink from a nice big cup and the second time was with cabbage and potatoes. I can not say enough about this place. Please eat here!

“great little restaurant”
Reviewed 25 June 2012

We loved this restaurant. They're in the Jewish quarter, and have a few tables outside that are great to snag. When we were there it wasn't ever very busy, but there were always people moving through. They had a pretty classic Polish menu, and everything we tried was great. It was also super cheap compared with some of the hipper places nearby.
