I really enjoyed this hotel: staff, room, breakfast were perfect. The room was big, clean and silent, internet connection wi-fi provided, the restaurant downstairs gives 10% discount to hotel guests. I advise this hotel.

Just returned from a great 3 days in Krakow, staying at the Hotel Ester. Great hotel, great area but there were just a couple of things that irritated me about it.
Firstly there was no rubbish bin in the bedroom, only the bathroom. Caused problems if the bathroom was being used. Secondly we were provided with kettle, tea bags and sugar, but no milk. We had to go to the restaurant and get a glass of milk which could not be used later on. Surely it would be a better idea to use uht cartons. And thirdly, bottled water was provided but the water was gassy. Much better if it had been still.
These are all silly negative points but would have made my stay a lot better if these items had been in place.

Room Tip: We had a room to the rear of the hotel on the 3rd floor, which was very quite. I noticed that a pre...

Despite the excellent location, I would never stay here again. Ghastly 'FIDDLER' music played all day, tiny rooms, free- Wi-Fi but it rarely worked, puny breakfasts, surly staff apart from very nice Reception. The nearby Israeli restaurant at the other end of the square is very good.

Room Tip: You will never get quiet; at the back, the rubbish bins get emptied, at the front, revellers in the...

We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the location of this hotel; it was in the old Jewish quarter, surrounded by traditional Jewish restaurants serving good, wholesome food at amazingly low prices and small, intimate bars that served more different flavoured Polish vodka than you could imagine! Our room was on the fourth floor but the lift only goes to the third, so this may prove a problem to wheelchair users etc. The rooms are very comfortable with an immaculately clean shower room, although if you need to style your hair, bring your own hairdryer as the one attached to the wall is just a tube that blows out hot air! The beds are very comfortable with nice, soft pillows so we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast is served until 11am and the buffet is adequate although not a great choice. If you want bacon and eggs, you can ask the waiters although it is not advertised anywhere. I only found out because I heard someone else ask for it! The main square with the tourist attractions such as horse and carriage rides is about a fifteen minute walk where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and fast food outlets. Overall, a lovely hotel in a great location; we would definitely return.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our visit to Krakow. The location is superb and you can easily walk to everywhere around the central area of Krakow from the hotel. Staff were absolutely great and helpful. We arrived quite late on the 1st night but the kitchen were able to serve us snacks even though they were just closed for the day. Comfy beds and quiet rooms with nice air conditioning even there was +35(°C) outside. We highly recommend this hotel and will be back on the next visit to Krakow.

Perfectly positioned for the Jewish quarter, set in a lovely little square with six or seven good restaurants and few bars. Well within walking distance of many other restaurants and only 15 mins to main square. The hotel itself was clean, tidy and welcoming. The rooms were well laid out, in two parts and with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was a good selection and they did egg and bacon if you asked. Would thoroughl recommend.
