“Logos Hotel”
Reviewed 18 November 2011

Just got back this morning from a first time visit to Krakow and loved every second. Hotel Logos is very central to the centre of Krakow and within a short walking distance from the market square. We stayed in a triple bedded room and cannot fault it at all. We were on the top floor and no lift area to our room so not ideal for disabled people. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was also quite roomy with a shower that was quite small but did the job. We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was lovely, the usual continental offerings from cooked meats, breads, cheeses, cereal, yoghurts and some odd looking things I avoided. Breakfast ran from 7am til 10am. Cannot fault anything about the hotel, basic but nice and clean and helpful staff at reception. Well there you have to visit Aushcwitz and the salt mines as both trips are the best we saw of Krakow. Was very cold at this time of year so take lots of warm items. Be prepared to do lots of walking to get around as the trams are hard to follow as they run in every direction and route possible. Eating out was cheap and lots of shops for the shopaholic amongst us. Loved our visit and would go back in later years to come.

Great place for exploring central Krakow by foot. Very clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast good. The only negative was the WiFi service which was variable and once connected the the Internet speed was slow. Nevertheless we would choose to stay here again if visiting Krakow in future.

Some friends and myself stayed at the Logos in Krakow, It's in a back street just off one of the main roads into the centre (but don't let that put you off) This is a really nice Hotel and is 5 minutes walk into the main square.
All the staff are very helpful with everything we asked for i.e. tram stops / directions or just general enquires about what was happening in the local area.
We found the rooms to be very comfortable and cleaned every day even if we left the (don’t service room) sign, my room was right next to the lift but I never once heard the lift working at any time. The breakfast is continental but if you ask for a menu there will be some cooked food on offer (like egg & bacon mixed together) really nice along with what ever else was on offer. We took advantage of the onsite Bar, which is just next to the reception all the staff who served us, were great and always up for a laugh.
Most of the staff spoke basic English, which was a help, and we tried to learn a small amount of polish so we could get by (lol) even with the language barrier in some cases everyone managed to get by.
All in all I would stay here again, this was only my second trip to Krakow the first time been in August 2011 so my memory of my first trip was still very fresh and like a lot of people I was comparing both the hotels and they both came up trumps.
I can’t believe we were so lucky to get “not one but two great hotels” within four minutes walk of each other. If you follow my links on trip-adviser I’ll be adding some Restaurants / Bars in the local area we visited and would not hesitate to recommend.

Well spent four nights recently at the Logos Hotel. Now as a base to explore Krakow it is perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle but yet still close enough to get around especially by foot. Krakow is not the biggest of cities but still a challenge to explore every inch on the old trainers. The hotel, well when I arrived I was told they had no notice of the booking. So I (cleverly) produced the booking form to show that we had arranged a stay from the night of arrival. We were quickly offered a room which we took. (There was two of us at this point in a three bed room) (Guys Holiday). Early the next morning around 8am we were asked if we would move room to a two bed room which I found annoying as many travellers will know checking the room before you vacate it can be very stressfull..... eg.... passport??..Money???..Clothes???....Wallet??,,, Phone.. the list is endless.

The breakfast we had was ok, various selection of meat, sausage!!!!, And cereal/veg/fruit.

There are no personal room safes in the hotel which I found worrying. Although the reception has a safety deposit box you could put stuff in. We utilised this facility, although have to admit the staff seemed less than helpful when assisting us!

An Ok stay in ok hotel but the little things they could do would make the world of difference.

Very good location, 2 minutes’ walk to the Main Square and very helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel for a short break.

We were moved here after the hotel we booked claimed to have plumbing problems.
Pros:
- free wifi
- good location, just outside the hustle and bustle
- helpful staff
- great breakfast

Cons:
- no air con
- stairs to most floors - tricky with heavy bags!
- small rooms

Nothing fancy, but fine for travelers who spend little time in their hotel room.

This hotel was like heaven when we arrived by night train from Vienna to Krakow. We had rung in advance that we are in Krakow for seven in the morning and asked whether it would be possible to get room back then.

Fortunately for us, the hotel had a room ready for us in the morning. Friendly receptionist welcomed us and we were able to shower and sleep (at night train I was not able to sleep, because the cabin was so hot)

The breakfast was also perfect, Krakow sausage, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit salad ...

The service worked fine and I got maps of Krakow from the receptionist and the roomservice bring more towels when I hoped so. The internet is free.

The hotel is located in a quiet side street, very close to the Rynek Glowny. It is a short distance to everywhere, including to the airport took only 15 minutes by taxi (80 PLN)

I've been to this hotel the first time in 2006, and I will come again, because the hotel has so nice staff and the location is ideal. Good value for money.
